Granted, insurrection and treason are indeed controversial.

Politico, Fox News, Hearst Family...
They all give the GOP a hand.

Subby, you left out a word in your headline.

Insert "job"...

2021-04-12 7:47:31 PM
Be careful with that. It ends in multiple massage business shootings and Deshaun Watson being pursued in civil court

Why aren't these farkers swinging for their treason?

That is the most technically accurate yet blatantly biased sounding sentence I've read in a long time.

2021-04-12 7:48:45 PM
I'd be more surprised if Politico wasn't doing that.

2021-04-12 7:49:53 PM
It took a half century but conservatives have finally convinced me that yes, I am their enemy.

I look forward to their humiliation, regret, and ruin.

Sedition is merely a political disagreement.

As though all the dickholes with Confederate flags were there because they had too much faith in the political system?

Oh don't worry I can pay attention to two types of farkfaces at once.

What's a little treason between insurrectional fascists. Like water under the bridge. Everyone does it.

The Dog Ate My Homework: That is the most technically accurate yet blatantly biased sounding sentence I've read in a long time.

It's only "technically accurate" in the sense that Charles Manson was a charismatic leader with laudable goals but lacked the self-reflection to bring them to fruition.

ABC News is the worst of the lot.  As also documented by Mr. Negrin in this thread.

Senator Roger Wicker spread conspiracy theories about "voter fraud" and pushed the Big Lie to overturn the election. He is a proven liar

Today @ThisWeekABC invited him on as if it never happened. It never came up@ABC is an active participant in the GOP effort to erase history pic.twitter.com/VYCNmvES2L

Olympic Trolling Judge: As though all the dickholes with Confederate flags were there because they had too much faith in the political system?

Well...kinda, yeah? Though it was less faith that the electoral system would generate a fair* result and more faith that the electoral system would generate a pro-Trump result.

2021-04-12 7:56:51 PM
Oh, history always remembers, and it'll be written down about how it is after we're all dead. That's like saying the wind will blow. Doesn't preclude any concerted effort to memory-hole things being successful while those events are relevant and the people involved are alive. That's our job until that shiat's being taught in public schools.

Well now, this is the first time Politico has done something so brazen. More greenlites from this source so we can see how cool they really are most of the time.

Hearst is kind weird sometimes. The bought the Chronicle in SF in 2000 but still remain mostly like they were with a liberal slant. The Examiner not so much.

Fun fact: When they were competitors both papers ran on the same publishing system. It was an SII Tandem mainframe and it's logicals. They ran separate logical systems in one computer and no logical  could talk to any other one. Even the editorial and business side of the systems can't talk to each other. They were kind of like VMs but not really.

They were super expensive and this was their solution. Not a bad idea, really.

Well now that sedition has been normalized

2021-04-12 8:25:03 PM
Why does this surprise anyone? On January 6th the media was telling us that Trump was toxic and would be vilified by even the Republicans in perpetuity. They were telling us the Republicans learned their lesson. They were telling us that the GOP would come back from the brink. And they were wrong about every one of these things like they were wrong about everything leading up to the 2016 election. Christ I work in the media and I know people who work in news divisions in New York City. They stand there sometime mouth the gate at the sheer stupidity and arrogance and deliberate ignorance of the people who are managing the news departments.

I was a Nonstop II mechanic. I *think* the Clylone was the next gen.

Good on your dad. They seemed like  great company to work for. I had training there (top notch training) and was lucky enough to experience the Friday address by the CEO and free beer. They treated their employees well and paid them well.

One one Friday we did out thing at the company, went to one of their rented apartments and had a few more. In the end we almost got kicked out of Sizzler.

Good times.

/they also had one at the naval air station in Alameda (SFBA)

There may be some sites that are blacklisted, but as far as I know, politico isn't one of them yet.

If you're sad enough to submit a politico article, you deserve to be allowed the criticism and occasional shame  that follows.  I don't make the rules.  Believe me, I've brought enough shame upon myself over the years here on fark...even without submitting anything other than comments in threads.
