Donuts. Is there anything they can't do?

I'm sorta bothered by the fact they sell out the naming rights for the horses.

The horse then discharged his sidearm into a unarmed bystander, got drunk, and went home and beat his wife.

No use beating a dead wife.

I live in Prov. and man do these horses annoy me. They are particularly fond of taking huge, steaming dumps right outside my door, and the cops, I can assure you, are not particularly interested in cleaning.

A cop is a cop, of course, of course......

I go to Providence quite often...how would you notice the smell?
2002-02-08 10:23:29 AM
Having a bad day...I thought you said they were huge SMELLY dumps, not STEAMING.

My bad.

Still, how could you tell?

In New England there are Dunkin Donuts every two blocks..... Bunch of fat farkers.

Dunkin Donuts Center. Formerly the Providence Civic Center. But now it's better because you can buy "Dunkin' Donuts coffee and other beverage products such as Coolatta® and Dunkaccino® at multiple concession locations on the concourse."

Something doesn't add up about this cop's story -- the trailer is at a Dunkin Donuts (mmmmmm Doooonnnnuutss) but he rides several blocks away to get soup for lunch? I'd think that mounted officers had even less concern for their girth than those propelled under their own power.

Horse are cool critters and their shiat doesn't smell bad. Smells a lot better than cow or pig crap. But then I'm biased. I like horses. A friend has one that can do better than this one. He can unlock his stall, untie ropes and open latches on gates. But he only goes as far as the yard when he gets out. (BTW, he's for sale if anyone is interested)

Patina, a fellow Providence farker?

"He's too smart for his own good," Del Rio said.

No, the cop is too stupid for his own good. He sees the horse straining on the line trying to eat grass, and merrily sits on his fat ass eating his lunch while the horse struggles.

Could have at least tossed him a donut.

For $3,500 someone gets to name the horse. I submit that Farkers raise the money and call it "The Royal Fark in the Hay" or something....

"galloped up the street to the Dunkin' Donuts Center"

What is so funny is that cops get real pissed when you mention the cop/donut thing, but everytime a police incident like this happens, a donut shop is involved. Just like the "fried chicken" thing the other day. If the snout fits, wear it.

The Dunkin Donuts Center is not a Dunkin Donuts, people. It's a Civic Center.

The official name of the arena is the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence. Does this mean that Dunkin' Donuts plans to buy out the names of other AHL arenas in New England and Upstate New York? Oh, I can just see Dunkin' Donuts buying the naming rights to the Onondaga War Memorial (where the AHL's Syracuse Crunch play) and renaming it the Dunkin' Donuts War Memorial. Everyone would be up in arms!

I prefer horses to people.

I live in RI, but last time I went to the Center (July for a WWF show), there was no sort of coffee in there at all. Can anyone tell me if its actually there. Id LOOVE that as I am a coffee freak.

I forgot to put a ? there, I know. Sorry.

Maybe Krispy Kreme will buy the naming rights to (currently) Enron/Chapter 11 Field in Houston. There are mounted officers in the city also.

WWF? World Wildlife Fund?
