Versace?

FTFA: I first reached out to Sopranos costume designer Juliet Polcsa, who let me know that the shirts were either sourced from Versace or Versace knockoffs.

Boom.  Nailed it.

The Sopranos is great comedy at times.  The intersection of Furio and his loud shirts kicking the crap out of Matush because Jackie Jr. said he had "brokered" him the right to sell drugs outside of the club was high comedy.

Matush through a wired jaw "I don't think they like you."

My cousin was a cocktail waitress at the club where Bada Bing was filmed. Guys wore those tacky shirts and the girls knew they had more money than sense. These wannabe gangsters were in and out of the joint like they had loyalty punch cards.

Heh.

And so love it when Tony sent Furio into the massage parlor because they hadn't paid up.

I haven't been in satin dolls in decades but anytime I went in there it was a bunch of trades and wannabe guidos blowing their pay.

We're almost done binge-rewatching the whole thing, and I missed or forgot quite a few little comedic bits the first time through.

"You're an albacore around my neck!"
"Isn't it ironic that some guy named Lou Gehrig died of Lou Gerig's disease?"

Jackie Jr's "In time, everything will be revealed to you" kills me. Hilarious.

I loved when Janice stole the Russian girl's prosthetic leg (or "laig" as Janice says).

Anthony Jr. and his friends trashed the school's pool and were busted by a leftover pizza box. The cops took the pizza box to the pizzeria and the owner identified it, but said, "That pizza never hurt nobody."

Dr. Melfi talking to Tony about getting a prostate exam, to which he replies, "Are you kidding? I don't let nobody wag their finger in my FACE!"

Anything with Christopher and Paulie arguing.

Ralphie prank calling Paulie's mother in the middle of the night.

I miss this show.

My Dad speaks fluent Russian, and I asked him to translate the scene where Tony's mistress and her one-legged cousin are speaking in Russian.

It was just chit-chat bullshiat...so obviously, I was disappointed.

There are no more Czechoslovakians.

We're gone.

Czech is okay though. We make do.

Also spectacular failures, we do that to. It's a national character.

1) Very true...which made Paulie's ignorant comment even better.

2) Czech Republic and Slovakia are my two favorite European countries.
