That part of PA thinks COVID-19 is a hoax that's just intended to make Trump look bad (as if he needed help with that).

What if I'm just Covid-curious?

Uh oh!  Once government finds out you are having a show, out and ENJOYING yourself and happy,
they will come LOCK YOU DOWN.  ;)

The UVA really hate old people.  Why would you promote this to the people most likely to die from COVID?

We may come out of this whole deal stronger as a whole.
We arent exactly losing our All Stars, intellectually speaking.

Do we really need more events that are friendly to COVID?   Isn't that why we're still in this mess?

/Also, the article goes into ZERO detail about why these events are different, re:  COVID protocols.

"We've all been hit hard by this pandemic..."

That's another phrase I want to see banned. Some people have been hit hard but most have been merely inconvenienced.

vudukungfu: Beta-Karens.
Beta-Karens everywhere.

If we keep them isolated from the general population, is that a Beta-Karen-uarantine?

I took it as talking about crafters who rely on markets like this to make a living. I'm a woodworker, and in past years have made most of my sales at holiday markets. Not being able to do that last year lost me thousands of dollars, and I know a lot of other vendors in similar situations. 2020 sucked hard.

I'm sure it's not just PA crafters, but when I go to these things I see a person that just buys cheap flyswatters in bulk and paints then sports teams colors and shouts, "Walla, craft"

Sometimes its rocks, gnomes, Christmas tree balls, etc.

Also, tupperware, and sentsy is not a craft.

Solty Dog: not a craft.

it's "Stay at home moms" + "Small business" with a pinch of pyramid scheme and a dash of "We're not technically committing the sin of gossiping if we look like we're making money" (We're not making money)

More than a pinch.  These people have ruined "craft" shows around here.  Handmade stuff is being squeezed out by these rude pushy people who sell their mass produced pyramid scheme garbage "everything for $5." Add that to the craft fair=flea market mentality some shoppers have.  Oh your handmade one of a kind piece is $25? Everything at this other table is only $5!
Ugh.  I'm gonna shut up now.
