As soon as we get vaccinated we're outa here, but we won't be flying American.

I'm finally getting to go back to the mainland (work on aUS Minor Outlying Island) after a year because of travel restrictions. Dominant carrier in my part of the mainland being American, I fly them a lot, and they had good deals on that flight. HNL-DFW first class on a 787-9 round trip was $890 (including the legs to/from my final desitnation, served by a 737 though)

I am still PO'd about paying extra for Korean Air from Incheon to DFW, only to end up on an American flight with a farking crossbar in front of me because they lumped multiple partially-filled flights into one American.

I mean, I understand the logic, but I am irked that my plans for a comfortable flight with decent food was scrapped for a very uncomfortable flight with shiat food.
