Spice Must Flow: Spice Must Flow: So during the opening credits, it's simply a shot of some silk fabric with the words over it. But the folds in the fabric looked like the letters S-E-X, and I pointed that out. My roommates said Nuh uh. So I went up to the tv and traced the letters, but they refused to see it. I'll see if I can find a screenshot.

Perhaps it is subjective, but somebody got paid to arrange that fabric. Lighting was set up, film was shot. They didn't just flop down some fabric and start filming.[Fark user image image 425x239]
The left side is doubly-curved similar to an S, and the right side has two straight lines intersecting almost perpendicularly. Does that X look like an accidental arrangement of fabric draping itself?

Chris Crude: To anyone that has not seen Coming 2 America, I highly suggest watching the original first. Very many running jokes paid off that I never would have remembered if I hadn't watched the original right before the sequel.

I plan on watching it soon but I always thought it would be funny if the original woman that was supposed to marry him is still hopping on one leg and making a sound like an orangutan because technically he never told her to stop

But if I'm right, don't tell me, because I plan on watching it

The_Sponge: Snatch Bandergrip: Author shiatting on Trading Places.  I'll say the blackface and interspecies rape may not have aged well, but you got one of the sharpest comedies ever made right here.  Quit huffing your own farts, AV Club.

The ape rape is still funny...Beeks deserved it.

Indeed. But he still has the best "FARK OFF!" in the history of movies though.

Use this joke all the time, very few get it. Most try to correct me and say "Don't you mean Tuesday?"

No. No I do not.

I never understood the Harlem Nights hate.

Only the second film I ever walked out of.

Ok I just looked.  It's the FIRST movie I ever walked out of.

Lambada is the second.
