Since she's a legend, there was absolutely no need to say what role she played. She's also 88 years old. Is Subby making some kind of Alzheimer's/dementa gag?

Don't do that to me... I saw the title "Star Trek Legend Nichelle Nichiols, 89" and immediately though she died. I had to go back and read the rest slowly to see thats not the case.

I'd still watch her do a fan dance.

She was diagnosed with dementia in 2018. Her assistant announced that she wouldn't be doing any more public appearances and conventions last year. I really hope she wasn't forced to do this endorsement.

She's actually appearing in this glorified fan film.  I thought Paramount put a stop to these things, or was that just Axanar because they were beating them at their own game?

This is now a "fork" of Star Trek since idiots at CBS/Paramount sent the lawyers after Axanar for becoming too successful at raising $$$ to be considered a fan film.

Way to take years of fan goodwill and flush it, idiots!

What was this "film?"

She played Uhura.

I don't know who this "Nyota" person is.

2021-03-08 4:43:06 PM
Nyota is Uhura's first name.

Shy apparently knocked space boots with Gene at least once, and shot a nude pinup that I'm told will make you breech your wsrp core.( I'm told).
