Great series. Now though, apparently they think Starz is some sort of premium channel you should pay extra for. They're mistaken. On a number of levels.

I was going to reference that. In Freaks and Geeks he was an awkward nerd. In the other two roles he was still a nerd but confident and as acerbic like he'd just owned the identity. I've seen that personality progression in real life.

He had an interesting stepping stone in that progression in an episode of Undeclared, as Steven's friend Theo, who drops by the campus to visit. The character is a massive nerd, but having a close friend who's also a massive nerd mean that he knows he doesn't have to hide the nerdiness to be accepted.

I loved the first season but didn't care for the second. It's been so long since I've seen it I can't remember why, I'm thinking it was a casting change where someone left and a new character came in.
