I can say that my company is not traveling at all right now and they're going to see how long they can wait until they have to spend money on travel again.

Business travel is an arms race.  If you're competitors aren't traveling, then you don't have to either.  When your competitors do, then you hear "Yeah, we had X out last week." and you know that they're getting facetime and dinners and lunches and they're setting product expectations that you have to match even if yours is better.

So it will come back.  Probably starting by the end of the year.

This is not good news for airlines. It will mean declining revenues. Businesses pay whatever is charged for airfare while leisure travelers will focus on price and nothing else. Airlines will initiate fare wars to capture what business is left.

It wont' be pretty. Maybe you can find a good vacation deal. Maybe airlines go bankrupt and die.
