Damn that just sucks.  I remember when they first moved to Houston.  That theater was a godsend when I had just about given up going to movies because of discourteous assholes.  Plus, they had a great beer selection before the beer craze hit.

I went to San Antonio back in 2019. I will admit that I had forgotten about The Alamo.

Loved the clips they'd show before the movie started. They'd dig up old ads with people before they were famous, related B-movie clips, informal interviews, clips of pilot episodes... all sorts of weird and occasionally hilarious stuff. People who showed up 5 minutes before the movie started really missed out.

Have relatives that live down there and was last there in 2004. The Alamo was nice but not much else to do other than Six Flags. I did spend a couple of days at Corpus Christi when down there, too.

The Alamo itself is good for about a 4 or 5 hours. But, I agree. Much more to do in, say, Chicago. Hell, the Field Museum is worth at least 3 or 4 days by itself.
