I have not listened to a ton of Kings of Leon ... but man, the songs I have heard, their production sounds pretty bad. Like somebody just put a lowpass filter at 10k and printed the tracks.

I love their first two albums (though admittedly they are pretty much the same album), but really could not get behind the directions they took after that. Then again, they got much more successful after doing so, so what the fark do I know?

Lead singer sounds like he's in the middle of being castrated when he sings.

Same here. Then Sex On Fire was on Gilmore Girls and the moms and their tween daughters discovered them. It was basically all downhill from there.
