Which, this is likely where Useful Idiot DJT came in--Trump's lousy business practices always made him need the use of massive funds the legitimate banking world in the U.S. and other civilized nations refused to lend. An easy mark for mobsters who compromise elected officials for a living.

Enter Vlad et al with enormous sums of cash and VERY willing to "lend" it to Donald--he just had to allow all his properties to launder their money thru Donald's shiatty and near-empty properties. Donald then claims a small amount of those illegal funds as "rental income", while he massively inflates his "expenses"--always claiming losses for tax purposes. He was always in a Catch-22--can't claim all the income from truly illegal activity while always having to make it seem legitimate (money laundering), while claiming bogus expenses to render unbelievable losses and therefore no taxes (tax fraud)...WHILE his half-legitimate bank loans were based on showing massive income that, if illegal, can't exist, and over-inflating property values used as collateral for those loans (bank fraud).

So, it's actually Trump the fraud and coward who really should be scared. Maybe THAT'S why he insisted at the last second his entire lousy cabal of a family continue to receive unprecedented Secret Service protection long past his term.

Taking away the oligarch's money has the opposite effect; it hardens their support for Putin and their animosity for the west.

Why not take a page out of Putin's book and BUY the oligarchs, the way the Russians did the Republican Party?
