I remember they kept killing her on Torchwood.

I see Christensen is supposed to be in it as Darth Vader. To which my only reaction is to ask: WHY?
Look, there was no good moment, for him as Anakin in the prequels, not a single one. He was that bad. And I know Lucas is a shiat non-director but Hayden's lack of charisma/life didn't help.

She was brilliant in Carnival Row, too.

Criminally under rated show that I personally blame cara delavingne for killing interest in.

↑ This.

I think marketing for it was half-hearted, and it was too steampunk for the fantasy people, too magicky for the steampunk people.  And this completely passes over Orlando Bloom as a Noir detective in the middle of this.
I can see why it seems like too many tropes and aesthetics piled together, but it worked well for me.

It's funny because that is the entire premise of the show. Both sides at conflict and odds with each other and both characters caught in the middle.

Night Train to Wakanda: Aunt Beru.

She's still coming out of the Nxivm brainwashing (check out "The Vow", scary stuff but a lot of exposure for her, I guess)

I would like to see Phasma (pre-First Order) on the next season of the Mandalorian.
Build up her back story and a strong woman replaces what's-er-nuts

Wait, we're still getting season 2 right?

This show was really good.

Casting two weak actresses as leads killed that show at birth. What a waste of resources

It was actually Bloom that killed my interest, but this thread is causing me to reconsider, maybe.

Agreed. Fantastic worldbuilding and story; zero chemistry between the leads.

Is there any film or show that Cara Delevinge actually makes the romance subplot believable? She's pretty, but her acting just falls flat when it comes to the romance stuff.

All kidding aside:
1. Bloom is just a weak, nothing actor. He was on an early episode of Midsomer Murders as a one of the victims that week (high body count per episode on that show). He played a punk who got whacked by some farm implement. That was like 20 years ago, the lack of quality in his acting has not improved since then.
2. Delevigne is some brat from money that they keep trying to make happen but can't be bothered to take a f*cking acting class. She has no capacity to emote and a blank stare. Reminds me of McFarlane's side-piece whom he had on Orville. That girl is just terrible, now she's ruining every episode of Prodigal Son.

Thank you both for mentioning Carnival Row. Hadn't heard of it, but it is right up my alley ie The Expanse, Altered Carbon, Mortal Engines.

I don't like Ellaria Sand. She's coarse and rough and irritating. And she gets everywhere.

He plays precisely one role and tone, and that not particularly distinctively. His allure has always been that he is really hot.

Cool? Everything about this show sounds like a bad, stupid idea.
