Move the decimal point to the right by 5 places and make it cash up front.

The last time I had Arby's, it was a chicken salad sandwich with moldy grapes in it. They offered me coupons, but I declined because I was NOT in the mood to chance more rotten food. ...and seriously, "Sorry you hated our rotten food, have some coupons and try again!" UGH. WTF?!

It has been over a decade, and I still can't unsee/untaste that crap.

I'll have to double-check with my accountant but I think I earn too many fish to quality for the COVID-relief sandwich.

I still hate all of you Culvers-adjacent farkers so very, very much.

Then I won't talk about how awesome their turtle sundae is. Especially if you get it with chocolate, rather than vanilla frozen custard.

/their burger crept into my top 10

Had an Arby's fish sandwich today. The "king Hawaiian" one.  Not terrible, even good in places. It's not magical, but deserves a second look.

Axeofjudgement: Big Boy actually has a pretty decent Sriracha fish sandwich right now.

I mean their Tartar has always been good. And I'm weirded out by a sandwich with 2 fish sticks and not just giving me a fillet, but big boy, so understandable.

Pretty decent!

Someone was complaining about no Culver's? Good luck finding a Big Boy.

Grew up in Cleveland. Love big Boy, and Arthur Treacher's, Mr. Hero, Cap'n Taco.......

No stores on either the West Coast or the East Coast.  I see a trend here.

They are all over in Florida with more popping up all the time. They really are good and who cares about the west coast? All of us on the east coast have to hear about in-n-out all the time so no Culver's for you.

(Just kidding, I really do love the west coast and might get to live there one day, once they get Culver's.)

Ambivalence: It's not a "new" fish sandwich, they've had it for a few years. I think it might be seasonal though and now is fish sandwich season. It's not bad. I would say it ranks second or third in the fast food fish sandwiches.

Came here to say this. The Arbys fish sandwich is actually quite good.

writingdude: OCEAN MEAT

that still cracks me up about the 2 local Popeye's we went in search of the fish sammich - at both places, they shouted to back in the kitchen, "DO WE GOT ANY FISH MEAT!" - lol, is this in your official employee playbook or something? like, have the managers been teaching this specific language?

I worked for Arby's when I was 15.  Didn't cook, did the register. But their food was really good, kitchens clean, I cleaned and did frying, so it was ok.  And I took large amounts of crackers, horsey sauce and leftover fries home, so that was something.  That was about 40 years ago.

Not sure about now.  But if I ever run by one I might give it a shot.
