Honestly, this is like getting Al Capone for tax evasion. This guy has escaped so many prison sentences, it's amazing. But the thing is, like his friend Balkany, he'll never see the inside of a jail, mainly because of automatic sentence remissions that he ironically riled against when he was president (automatic when sentenced to less than two years), because it shows France as being soft on crime.

I see a lot of conservatives posting things about trump still and the message from liberals is the same: "trump lost, get over it."

What is funny is that I see ten times more posts about trump from liberals than conservatives. It is funny to me how far trump is in liberals heads.

Trump was President for four years, using every second of that time to be a horrible human being, and it ended less than two months ago, going out with a farking coup attempt on the Capitol. Then he was impeached for that, which only ended about two weeks ago.

We're allowed to keep talking about him a little bit longer.

/Conservatives are only talking about him less because they're still sore about him losing.
//But they are arranging for him to speak at CPAC next to a golden statue of himself.

Abe Vigoda's Ghost: France is a first world nation, that holds its corrupt politicians responsible for their crimes.

No we do not.

Otherwise Balkany would still be in jail.
Dillon would be in jail.
Pasqua would have been in jail.
Countless others would have been in jail.

This is an anomaly.

Politicians in France don't go to jail. They usually make procedures last years or even decades, and when they get sentences, it's always suspended, or very small sentences.

I guarantee you, Sarkozy will never see the inside of a jail.

Yes. It stands for what it always has. Harming brown people, women, and gays, and amassing as much money and power as possible for a small oligarchic elite, all under the guise of religion and small government.
