Bannon will be attending a NY state court soon. Most criminals say if you have to go to prison the federal system is much better than state prison. Betting Bannon will really dislike the NY prison system. But let Bannon be Bannon I guess.

You will never convince me that Bannon did not die several years ago. That "man" is clearly a bloated corpse.

On the bright side, it'll give him a chance to finally dry out.

Sounds like you've never tried the flavors of prison booze.

I expect various entities, NY in this case, will be taking hard looks at Bannon and a number of other vulnerable Trump traitors. If only for their foolishness in aligning with him, but will see long patterns of illegal activity.

Trump allies remind me of fights in seedy bars. At the first punch a number of smarter people would scurry out a back door. Not because they had anything to do with the fight, but because they didn't want to be around when the cops showed up to have them learn of their warrants, that they were holding dope, had unpaid child support.. maybe just have cops manufacture something because they didn't like the guys' look or attitude. Trump allies saw a crime spree, said "I want to get me some of that" and rushed right into the scrum as best they could, and despite the whole world watching. Nail the bastards to the wall. They openly dared the authorities to do it.

I've seen it convincingly argued you CAN still take the 5th after a pardon.
I don't know what's right, but I don't think it's a given.

I had never heard of Bannon until after Breitbart died, so it's possible Bannon is just Breitbart's lich.

Been saying this since he got it. Not only does he have to testify against his co conspirators in the Fed case, they are now HIGHLY motivated to take a plea and implicate Bannon in any potential state case. The pardon may turn out to be just the leverage to put all of them away.

So for any law taking folks:  Can you be charged with conspiracy to commit a crime if you are pardoned for the crime itself?

He did a commercial for them, but I don't think he was otherwise involved. No idea if he was paid for the commercial or not.
