amb: Polish Hussar: Unbridled Apathy: Polish Hussar: foo monkey: Polish Hussar: Here's a much less interesting trivia question than foo monkey's, what year did Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick get married?

1984.

Nope, but the correct decade.

1989?

/only 8 more guesses

Warmer

I think it was 88. There was an article about Kyra not too long ago and it mentioned they were married for 32 years I think.

Correct!

"Schitt's Creek" basically swept the last Emmy's, I wouldn't be surprised if some voters decided to try to recognize other stuff this awards season.

Random EGOT fact:  James Earl Jones only has an EGOT if you count his honorary award.  And the Grammy isn't the honorary one, it's the Oscar (Lifetime Achievement).  His only Academy Award nomination was for "The Great White Hope," he lost to George C. Scott (Patton) that year.

Because the US hasn't decided if she's an commie sympathizer or a champion for climate change.

Indeed.  It's more, that as with Samuel L. Jackson, it's surprising that with his long and storied career, he hasn't won an Academy Award.  Much less that he only has one nomination.

Polish Hussar: It just feels wrong that he's only been nominated for an Oscar that one time.

What movies has he been Oscar worthy in?

Polish Hussar: John Boyega notches the first win for the Rebel Alliance.  Although based on how he was treated in the last film, he may not want to acknowledge that connection.

Not watching, but he won for RoS?  That wasn't released in 2020.  And how could he win for that performance?

He won for Small Axe, in the Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture for TV category.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  The Queen's Gambit was a middling show.  The only reason it gained attention was because it put Anna Taylor-Joy in a starring role.  She's a beautiful woman and great actress.  She shined a turd of a script and plot, which only speaks to her talent.
