Best case scenario these guys get fired, but we as a nation need to be more willing to bring charges against police who break the law.

It's pretty dark in the video.  I can see how the cops could have mistaken him for being Black.

At least there's video to show what happened and the order it happened in.

Forgot the cops, I enjoy (/s) how news outlets decide who is a "man" and who is a teenager for 18-19 year olds.

No best case scenario we can hope for is that this kid doesn't wind up mysteriously shot and disposed of in a burning car, as that seems to be the trend lately.
Nothing happening to the cops, we know that much already. Only cliffhanger is if this kid makes it to his next birthday.

"N.J. cops under investigation for repeatedly punching man on video"

Phrased to make it sound like they're only under investigation for getting caught doing it.

Two Paterson police officers are under investigation after a video surfaced on social media...

It's not often that we get articles that tell us all we need to know in half of the first sentence.

the lack of professionalism is stunning. If the guy was armed and looking to kill them they did everything they could to expose themselves

How about rolling up in the vehicle and asking the person what they are doing from a distance ?

the video shows them get out of the car and go hands on with a person who is walking down the street and start raining blows even quicker

And they justify this somehow.

completely and utterly unnecessary even if the guy was committing a crime

Video is the best weapon you can have when dealing with the police. In the US, any other weapon is likely to get you killed.

Jersey cops are an especially vile breed of the species Badgethugus Americanus.   Almost all these Jersey badge-clowns  are nepotism and crony hires.    Don't think they're corrupt because of low pay, their pay and benefits would make a third world dictator envious, it's one of the main reasons that NJ property taxes are the highest in the country.

Oh, here is some recent shiat going on in the Paterson PD  https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/passaic/paterson/2020/01/07/eighth-paterson-nj-cop-charged-fbi-corruption-probe/2830759001/

Nothing is going to happen to any crooked cops in Jersey.   The NJ politicians live in fear of the NJ police.  If this kid had any brains in his head, he'd move the hell out of Jersey before he ends up like Billy Batts.

Were they yelling "stop resisting" while tuning him up?

"A police source told NJ Advance Media on Monday that the video Alsaidi posted to his Instagram account was not the only security video of the incident and that other video exists to back up the officer's report."

Literally the only way that's possibly true is if the police doctored video to support their story.  Because this surveillance video completely guts their bullshiat.

Of course they were. How else do you expect them to keep their rhythm.

Because that is the ONLY reason they are being investigated?

*OOPs.. we got caught...*

Blacked out. Now we know why they beat and arrested him.

I'm waiting for a bystander to pull a gun on the cops to prevent them from killing someone. I know if I were in a jury for that bystander, I'd never vote to convict.

You'd never get on the jury to begin with.  Holster sniffers only.

Yeah, one of those idiotic no-knock warrants running into a Rambo type that kills the whole Swat team. I'd like to see the Freedumb crowd here in Texas try to reconcile their love of the Castle Doctrine with their love of boot licking cops.

Actually, Stayin' Alive only has a tempo of 103:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2qoihbzc3E

I've heard it played at too high a speed on a couple occasions. One was the music video, when last I saw it on TV a few decades ago, and another was the disco scene in the movie Airplane!:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WXVaChA3Q0

For a tempo of 126, you could try thinking of Disco Inferno:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHVznvmQTuA

The latter single was actually mastered at too high a speed, though, and this is how it sounds as originally intended:

Of course, if you want to be ironic in your CPR efforts, and 113 isn't too slow, you could try Another One Bites The Dust:

Not when the GOP has put laws into place that make LEOs a protected class of citizens like minorities and LGBTQ.

Nazis have long been part of New Jersey law enforcement.  Take the authoritarian personality flaws necessary to be a cop and add Nazi fascism to the mix.

When I had CPR training they said it also works with Another One Bites the Dust.

Property taxes are high because there are so many school districts and police departments, not because the cops are paid a whole bunch.  My dad was an NJ cop and was NOT rolling in it.

But yes, they're human garbage.  I've never seen people so full of themselves, literally puffed up, can't talk to you like normal people, etc.  My god, Los Angeles police are more decent.

My experience is mainly with shore town cops.  I don't even want to know how they are in f*cking Paterson.

I don't know when you're father was a cop, but most cops are over $100K after 5 years on the job, and most retire with $100K pensions after 25 years.

He retired in the early 2000s I think.  No idea.  The child support he paid my mom each month was Starbucks money.  Absolutely ridiculously low.
