You gotta hear what Barry Manilow would've said.

Public, which currently claims 1 million users versus Robinhood's 13 million, allows customers to buy fractional shares of stocks and ETFs.

Uh, so does Robinhood. So does M1. So do a lot of 'em.

This institutional vs retail story has done nothing but expose just how much the media doesn't understand what's happening.

I once asked Kenny G for some stock tips and he played an E♭ for 45 minutes.

Interesting platform, but the analysts they are pulling from are utter garbage. GSAT partners with freakin Nokia and Qualcomm and the analysts say "SELL SELL SELL BEFORE IT HITS .50!" No charts, but I see serious potential what with crowdsourcing.

Robinhood also sells your stock without telling you, so...

They lend them. Supposedly they can't do that if you use a cash account, but practically all brokers do that as a matter of course with margin accounts, even Public. Good brokers let you turn it off if you want, and even give you a cut of the interest if your account is big enough.

They did straight up sell people's fractional shares of GME for 5k though. Still salty about them cancelling my sell orders so they could do that.

I mean that is table stakes, so it is relevant. So is their claim that they no longer sell order flow (which would make me curious about their monetization model. )

Bolton?  Kenny G?  Sorry, the only musicians I take financial advice from are the Wu Tang Clan.

They never said they didn't, and in fact, a logical person would've presumed such, being that the article is portraying it as direct competitor.     i didn't know Robinhood did that, but i assumed they did after reading this article.
