The Mexico-Canadian border is this weird place that doesn't even have a name. "The United States" because they unite Canada and Mexico but frankly there's a lot of weird stuff that goes on for just a stretch of interstate highways. Anyhow the people who live there don't usually ahve the skills or money to care for their own homes, so Mexicans take turns doing groundskeeping and basic food and service jobs for a charity wage. Canada should really pull its weight like Mexico does to care for those border dwellers. maybe after the pandemic.
