That's quite the glut of highly trained IT professionals entering the job market all at once. I mean, how many of them are Geek Squad members? Those people are going to snapped up by Big Tech companies in no time at all. If I was a  tech employee at any of those firms, I'd be extra attentive to all of my tasks for the next few days. Don't want to create any excuses for them to add you to the "to be replaced" list.

Pretty much proves we need to use the government to force higher wages and improve union protections/usage.

Companies won't raise wages nor improve worker conditions themselves, their owners and upper management are sociopaths just looking for that extra dollar, even if they're already living extremely comfortably.
