Wait. She's not a real judge? Next thing you're going to tell me is that orange-faced guy on The Apprentice isn't a real businessman but just a conman. I don't buy it.

With how much money she makes, you would think she would just pay out and go away if there is any chance she owes it. $4MM is nothing for her, she can make that in a working week.

She was a real judge, many moons ago. But - and this is surprising - Pigmeat Markum . . . not a real judge.

Well she has that much on the orange faced guy on The Apprentice. He was never really a businessman.

Judge Judy has a net worth of $440 million. She can afford this

I get what you're saying, and you aren't wrong.

She is making $47 million a year right now. So everyone is right to an extent.

Net worth isn't equal to a bank account, but she could still easily shell out the cash.

No, but once it's over around $5M, even a teen could live a middle-class lifestyle near (if not in) a major urban area for the remainder of their lives without investing that money too carefully.

I have trouble giving a shiat about the woes of people with hundreds of millions or more.

And how many bankruptcies? And a failed casino in a resort town that caters to gamblers? It's beyond me how so many people actually fell for this third-rate, used care salesman. It boggles the mind. But I digress. This is about judge Judy and somehow we managed to drag donnie into it. Damn. I suck. Sorry.

Maybe he should have brought his election claims in her "court".

A lawyer could have almost make the case that Judge Judywould have been the most appropriate venue for the impeach trial. Although I'd prefer Judge Joe Brown since he is a Democrat.

/now you're asking "Did he know Judge Joe Brown's political affiliation already or did he look it up just for this post?"
//you'll never know
///yes I know both options are sad

There also is the possibility (as remote as it seems) that you ARE judge Joe Brown.

Judge Wapner is the only retired TV judge with no real power in my book. Used to watch that at my grandma's after school.

I saw a post covid episode right after the 1st stimulus checks were sent out. A guy's roommate borrowed his stimulus money through a cash app. Judge Judy didn't know about the stimulus checks or how cash apps work and couldn't comprehend that it's essential a bank account. She dismissed it without even hearing him out. No business bring an adjudicator if you aren't going to keep up with the world around you.

Yeah. Then when you factor in that even with that, he's still more successful than any of us will ever be... that's rough.

I'm sometimes curious as to what it would feel like in my brain if I was stupid enough to want to watch a show like this. And I'd ass to this all those reality type shows. American Idol, Survivor. I've never seen a second of any of them.

Do you walk around in constant glee because your understanding of the world is so limited? Maybe that's a decent way to live.

Life is easy when you are a millionaire as a child , inherit your father's company in your 20s, and then a billion when he dies.He started life on home plate after thinking he hit a home run. His net worth is probably barely positive, if that.

I hate the guy, but by almost any reasonable measure, he was far more successful than even his rich peers.

POTUS is about as high an honor as anyone can achieve.

Fair enough. I thought you meant in business. He is an absolutely horrible businessman. He is great showman to a third of the country, and parlayed that into success on TV and then the Presidency.

But he didn't achieve it, did he? He wasn't elected on his own but even if he earned every vote he got it wasn't the majority of votes cast. He inhabited the role of POTUS, but its honor wasn't ever his - only its perks. He's one of the most hated people in the world, I'm pretty sure his mega-wealthy, non-hated & unfamous peers are more than happy as they are.
