And that's the thing I just don't get.  The first grifter to flip, turn state's evidence, and fall in supplication at the feet of the media actually has a future.  Is the cult that strong?

Michael Cohen seems to be doing okay, and he's not in prison, which is a big plus.

When it comes to Bannon and crew, I see it more like mob loyalty than cultist behavior... But I mean, same difference if you wanna be pedantic about it.

This seems to be an inherent problem with an executive pardon for someone who is still presumed innocent.

Does this guy just forget he slept in his clothes the night before and just put on more clothes over the ones he wore yesterday?

Does anyone really believe the FBI put the whole case out there? Knowing full well that Trump was going to p*** in their face? Of course not. "Ooops! We forgot this one thing - our bad"

The Trump's will be regretting things soon enough.
The Daily Beast: NY investigators are looking at Don Jr. in Trump biz probe

Cy Vance sat in on Cohen's interview the other day.

Also, NY AG interviewed Jr. February 11, asking specifics about very large inauguration funds landing in Trump's DC hotel coffers.
Regarding one specific payment, Jr. didn't hesitate to throw his college buddy under the bus
"I don't recall authorizing that $50,000 payment".
Huh, well according to him, he made the payment with your permission.
That doesn't bode well for anyone else involved.

NY's got mob sniffers on the trail now. I really don't think NY intends to let the Trump crime family continue it's life of pure bullshiat and crookery. And it does look like they're making progress sniffing their way through the mess all the way to the top.

What's going on right now with the Trump-maze/inaugural funds mess, is looking very much like the family was grifting every which way they possibly could. They clearly ignored calls to rein the grift in. And Jr.'s interview only made them look even more guilty, and deliberately - yet stupidly - shady.
Ivanka was clearly involved.

Something's up though. Eric and Ivanka were both at Trump Tower in NY today.
Jr. too, is laying low somewhere in NY. I think the investigations now picking up steam have them spooked.
Honestly, it appears the family (especially the kids) are scrambling and somehow trying to get on the same page. Though with the messes they consistently make with money and everything else, I doubt that's possible for them to pull off.

What's both tragic and amusing is this: Dad Trump doesn't give a shiat. He'll blame his kids, and even Ivanka, for any "mismanagement".
"Oh I was busy being president. I wasn't involved in any of it".
He's already labeled Jr a complete idiot, so it's no stretch for Trump to say the idiot kid made a complete mess of everything and any laws that were broken or funds that were stolen were Jr.'s ideas and on his head be it completely.

Anyway, looks like Trump set his stupidly fawning kids up to take the blame for all the theft, mismanagement, and highly questionable "business deals" made while he was in office.

Dad: Lalala I'm headed off to my golf course, have fun in jail!

Stone was sentenced, but he never reported. Trump commuted his sentence before he had to report and then pardoned him in December.
