While I do like gin and I do like raisins, I'm not so sure about putting them together.

Wait, is that in addition to the nine I already eat every morning or just nine total? It's not very clear.

Can I substitute bourbon?  Cause gin and I don't get along.

That will look cool but likely smell bad a couple of hours later. Whatever, I'm in.

Obviously this means we need to be forcing doctors to inject a gin raisin slurry into people's IVs along with the hydroxychloroquine.

/I shouldn't have to say it, but don't do this

Can you make substitutions? I was never wild about golden raisins and gin isn't exactly my favorite elixer. My choice would be rum soaked dried apricots and dried cherries. It might not have the longevity secret but it sounds good to me.

what you really need is a bar that makes their own luxardo-analogue, for the entire purpose of Marasca/Morello cherries, to create the perfect AVgas.

"9 gin soaked raisins" says the 105 year old lady. Is this a euphemism?

I'm glad the article pointed out that this is not a CDC-approved method of fighting covid.  I would have never guessed otherwise.

Are you my mom, submitter? She swears that rum soaked white raisins is a panacea. She's 75 and runs four miles a day. Goddamned Filipino women are going to outlive everyone.

Cool, let's make sure to get some of her genes to find out why she is indestructible. Maybe start a colony of Guatemalan and Spanish people in Hawaii and see if they grow powers.

FTA: ʻGod will protect me,'" Neiman told the Times. Although she likely contracted the virus before receiving her second dose of the vaccine, the shot also likely contributed to DeClerck's recovery,

I've been experimenting with simple syrup, vodak and high strength cinnamon oil for candies. I about have the fireball down and it's a lot cheaper.

Is it really a solution if it has you wishing you did get infected just to make the flavor go away?
