Every now and then I'll get a rowdy during doggie and the wife bumps her head on the headboard but that doesn't seem to be something that requires a specific helmet for.

But you know, safety first!

Or maybe slamming heads together over and over is just not a good idea no matter what kind of helmet you wear.

It's pretty sad you can put a $1.09 sticker on a box and get better impact tracking than a several hundred dollar helmet used by a $30MM/yr player.  If the NFL was serious about protecting the players they would track peak and total impacts for the players throughout the game and have real criteria for pulling players, not the Are you Batman? test in a urinal tent by a team doctor.
