Agent Woo and Lt. Trouble kicking ass and taking names. Nice.

Loved how they turned all those soldiers into Republicans at the end, too.

Highly recommend giving it another shot. That was 50s, last week was 80s. This week should be 90s.

Then if you want you can go back to watch episodes 2 & 3, but if you don't you really won't have missed much because of the recaps.

It's a bit of a slow build.  The first two episodes are a bit of a drag, and I wasn't overly impressed either.  It starts to pick up  a lot in the 3rd and 4th and I'm really enjoying it now.

This is the type of show that really works best when binged.  Seriously, these cliffhangers are insane.

That said, this was a packed yet kinda slow episode.  There is a change in Vision's relationship with Wanda, Wu/Monica/Darcy relationship with Hayward, and some astounding introspection from Pietro.  We get yet another tease about the Aerospace Engineer.  The kids become more developed into their future roles. And we get some more questions about who is really in control.  It does put to rest some fan theories about Agnes.

Did anyone else think the commercial was rather morbid?

Anybody else notice Pietro's powers don't look the same and he seems massively depowered?

For a show like this I kind of like that you can't binge it.  It promotes discussion and fan theories and watercooler talk.  The anticipation is nice.

/My fan theory is that is that everything was set up by Hydra, playing on Wanda's grief, to get their hands on an infinity stone.  Hayward is hydra.

He is "in a TV show", so he is exactly as powerful as he needs to be to further the plot.  In this case, the plot is manipulating Wanda. Also, there are two levels to this, since he is in a show in a show.  Shakespeare would be proud.

I'm just whining because my instant gratification button isn't getting pressed. :)  I will agree that the reactions and the buildup are fantastic.  I love how some people are digging into all the little details.  I know I don't have the patience or background to find all the connections.

My Occam's Razor tells me that Hayward is just an Asshole.  And I will be pleasantly surprised at whatever twist is actually true!

But what stone?

Since this is after Endgame, there really aren't any left. Stark's snap should have destroyed them, and the ones brought in the Time Heist were returned by Cap at the end of Endgame.

Fair point.  But backing up, why would you say that Pietro is depowered?  He isn't doing much, but each time he does his super speed thing, it looks on par with what I'd expect a speedster to do.  We are missing out on his amazing "everyone else is in slow motion" scenes that were in the X-Men movies.  Which makes sense because the point of view characters are Darcy, Monica, Vision, and of course Wanda.

I got sucked into it last week and happy I did. But damn, it never feels like I am ready to stop watching when it ends. Like what?! It's over?! NOOOO!
I was really hoping with the TV format that Mojo would be involved, but after this week that doesn't quite feel like it.

The simple fact that Franken-George was able to have a conversation with Wanda and whoever was on the other end of his earpiece mike while Pietro was still running and that we could actually watch him doing the things conversed about.  FoxPietro would have done all that stuff in between breaths.

I'm thinking the Mind Stone, since its in Vision's head.  Using magic to bring it back into existence.

I didn't tie the starving child in the commercial to the trapped children but that makes complete sense, especially based on Pietro's comments to Wanda!

I think that is splitting hairs.  Those three beats were important from a narrative perspective.  They built up the story of how things were progressing. The important part of that wasn't the speed, but the look on Wanda's face.  A speedster is only as fast as plot will allow, and no faster.

Besides, maybe he was taking his time to savor the moment? :)

Honestly the "tv show" stuff is pretty damned boring to me.

The broader story and external characters have me interested. But you need to get to episode four for that.

So far the less Wanda and Vision there is the better WandaVision is.

The speed effect is the MCU speed effect. He is literally talking the MCU pietro's place. Not "another Pietro with his own powers."

Same effects as in age of ultron.

I think you'll best be served by waiting for the series to end and just watch a recap.  Which is fine, since not all narrative devices work for all viewers.

I am personally very amused with the characters asking the same questions about the show that the audience has been asking.  It is like we are walking into a high end lampshade store.

That tracks well with the scene in the town square.  Pietro is asking all of these difficult questions and for a moment we get flash to him with bullet wounds and a pale completion.  The recap at the start of the show even reminds us of Quicksilver's last scene in Ultron.

She was conveniently parked right at the edge of town, immediately adjacent to where SWORD were set up to to meet Vision as he explored.  Also, for being the citizen farthest from Wanda's epicenter-of-power she showed a hell of a lot of activity over the other citizens closer.  Lastly, AGatha harkNESs.

He's in his own costume.  Google 'Marvel Wiccan' if you want to see.  I won't post a visual spoiler here.
