Journalist unaware 2024 Super Bowl very unlikely to be that early in February.  Hell, there may be an 18-game season by then if ownership has its way.

In related news, will they move the Oscars from the second Sunday in Feb?

Let's just make the Super Bowl the Sunday after the conference championship games. Two weeks off is just too much time for sports journalists to come up with content, which results in speculative fanfic like this.

No one likes the Pro Bowl anyway -- except the players that get a free trip to Hawaii.

Damn, you're right. Looks like I'm 5 years out of date. All the more reason to skip the week off before the Super Bowl -- which I realize will never happen. So 10+ media days in between games will continue to be a thing.

It's Feb. 2 of 2021. Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady meet in an opening paragraph that has nothing to do with the article.

The article would have been much better if it started with "Las Vegas should host the Super Bowl in 2024 and here are the reasons why" or something along those lines. You save everyone the pointless junk at the start of the article.

Even if he had to meet a minimum word count, the words would have been better spend telling why Las Vegas is a good fit for the Super Bowl.

By two weeks off do you mean two weeks after the conference championships?  That's really just one week off.

Yep. Guess I meant to say "two weeks between games."
