How much do you want to bet Trump files a lawsuit against the Democratic Party For damages in causing his buildings to lose value?

Last year the Residents voted to remove the sign, now they have a chance to vote to change the name entirely. I'd be willing to bet they do so.

I have a feeling it'll easily pass though. That name is bringing down their property value and no one wants that name if it means their condo is $50k less than a non-Trump condo.

She changed on Air Force 1 on the way down.  Walked on something more formal, got off in Florida wear.  She's done.

I'm pretty positive she was told that if she held is hand at his farewell speech, she would never have to do it again

"It's the latest in a string of Trump pushback from Floridians."

No. Trump hasn't made any money from that property in thirty years, unless he got money just from having his name on it. You want to call it pushback? Punt Marco Rubio and not in favor of Ivanka.

Yeah, but before he became president, he was just a dirty businessman. Most rich people are ok with that.

She dresses like that when they have to leave the access panels open for additional cooling.

Hate to be the turd in the punchbowl, but Two Scoops has been known to beat 'his' women when life gets too tough everywhere else. Long sleeves and giant sunglasses? Hope she's ok.

Well, the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu just released an album this month, after deleting their entire back catalog in 1994 when they burnt £1 million as performance art. Also known as The JAMs and The KLF, Kallisti Liberation Front, named from an obscure Robert Anton Wilson book.

She must be a fan!

"They're Justified and they're Ancient
And they drive an ice cream van..."

The old lady sitting behind me in my Egyptology class started crying. She's never seen such language!

But I visited Egypt as a youngster and saw an ancient temple where somebody had chiselled out some cartouche completely, and deep. Like they were carving an abyss where that magic name had been (probably Akhnaten). That one looks kind of plastered over, lightly redacted.

If you can't get the votes to rename, just elect a Black woman president of the condominium board, with an undocumented Hispanic man as VP. That should do the job.

"The Lone Gunman

That's a huge part of his business model. He's promoted his name for 50-60 years to the point that you can put his name on things because people will pay more for it.

He's obsessed with image because image is his business.

These licensing deals tend to be over long time spans where you can remove the sign but have to keep paying the license until the contract expires.

I'm not one to comment on fashion, but did she accidentally wear a grocery bag?  That is an ... interesting choice.

Now that you mention it, that sounds right.

We went one place related to Akhenaten as I recall (this was in 1977) but I seemed to recall more than one place with erased cartouche. I think I would have remembered if our guide had mentioned them all belonging to him, as he was King Tut's dad and the first monotheist.

Your suggestion sound more plausible.

It's a small world.
I made a video as a surprise birthday present for my dad, narrating from the journal he kept. It ended up winning Best Documentary and Best Innovative/Experimental in a really obscure contest. I touched the Rosetta Stone in London before we went, which is how I became such a mild mannered reporter. That was an amazing experience as a kid, as I'm sure you'll agree.
