They won't. This woman is what is referred to as the sacrificial lamb. They are putting on horse blinders pretending not to see her while secretly masturbating over her agenda pushing they all support but won't admit to. The second she's sent packing, arrested etc then they'll all rush out of their closest racing to denounce everything she's done.

Then in a few weeks support her all over again once the heat dies down

It is so too late for that. They are already the party of Q. They literally cannot win enough statewide and national elections without their supporters to wield power. Punishment or censure, if any, will be the weakest possible to keep everybody in the boat.

See, this is where the "don't interrupt your opponent while he's making a mistake" ends up when the opponent isn't making a mistake. They know what they're doing. You can't threaten Republicans with "owning" the bigots, white nationalists, QAnon cultists, Proud Boys, etc. because they WANT them. They're not ashamed to have these people on board because that's their base.

The time for shaming Republicans for having to "own" what they're doing is long over. Either start opposing them and treating them as the threats to the country that they are or you own the results of doing nothing to stop them. That's where we are. Republicans gonna Republican, either stop them or get out of the way of the people who want to oppose the white nationalists and conspiracy theorists, because right now the evil nutjobs are winning more than they're losing.

Where the f*ck have you been for the last twelve years? Obama is a Mooslim. Obama's coming fer yer guns! JADE HELM! Taco trucks on every corner! Sweet Patriots of Malheur! The GOP complained bitterly that the very folks who stormed the Capitol were on the DHS Watchlist. They ALREADY own this. And even made their fundraisers branded for it.

They already want to let Trump get away with trying to murder them. Is there any doubt that Congressional Republicans are, on average, pro-terrorist?

Damnit, I WAS PROMISED TACO TRUCKS! Where are they, Republicans? Was that just another lie to try and get me to vote for you? Either bring on the tacos, or I'm really going to be on the fence about voting for you in the next election.

I am sorry, but this is delicious.

They've long been anti-American terrorists and they allowed it to bubble up to the point where the "quiet part" is now a few walking talking morons.

They have videos, posts, and go on live TV to spout how stupid they are.

If we are who we say we are as a country, and our allies are who they say they are, these people will be labeled as the terrorists they are and treated as such.

If we're lucky, these morons, along with Dotard, will be an anchor around the neck of the rapepublican party for the next generation and this country will move on and be better for their failed efforts to destroy the country.

/or we're doomed

How dirty do you want to play?

The Qidiots got all their power by pure terrorism. They doxx, they make death threats, they harass and terrorize. It's not just occasional picketing at a house. Remember that one guy running against a Qidiot who lost his wife and ended up in the hospital, because they were harassing him so badly?

And they get away with it because its invisible. Cops will shut down external demonstrations if they get out of hand; but there's no way to stop the emails, phone calls, letters, detailing what will happen if they dont do what Q wants.

Hell, the former vice president cant even go home because these maniacs want to kill him. That's what terrorism does.

Perhaps it's time to start directing efforts toward crushing these terrorists, and leave the government toadies to their own devices.

If anyone had any lingering doubts about the Republican Party's descent in to authoritarianism, hopefully the capitol riot, followed by most congressional Republicans voting against certification anyway, took care of them.

I agree. Not sure what can be done about it, other than continuing to vote for the Democrats in every election. Don't think the suggestion of vigilantism from another poster would be a good idea.

Nothing matters to the GOP but grabbing and holding power.  Literally nothing else.

Denouncing her would mean giving up some of that power.

Not gonna happen.  Circle the wagons.

^

They've spent decades cultivating their base not on policy, but on culture war.  This isn't news.  These are the people they want.

They've then used their media system to play victim.  For years and years people have been calling them out for their cultivation of literal white supremacists and they spin up their media machine to call us hysterical and hyperbolic.  See bsab after Charlottesville.  FOX News, their reactionary youtubers, their radio hosts, and things like PragerU spun a narrative focusing on a single date to show how people were overreacting.  But they focus on a single date where Trump "denounced" them, but fail to mention that Trump retracted it the next day and then BSAB'sed it AGAIN a week later.

And it farking worked.  The average democratic voter, the centrists, the moderates all bought it.

Look at the deplorables comment.

Same shut.  About 50% of DEMOCRATIC voters were upset by that.

So they're able to gloss over the fact that they've been cultivating literal nazis into their party by redirecting it and getting democrat voters to get angry at their own party and depress turnouts for calling them out.

And now that they've gone full mask off they're still playing the victim card.  And it farking works.
