born_yesterday: Atomic Jonb: natazha: It's been years since I went to a Subway.  It wasn't a conscious decision, I just stopped.  Jimmy John's may have had something to do with it.

Same here, but their spokesman raping children while the owners pulled a Sergeant Schultz had more to do with it.

Jesus, that was a mental picture I didn't need.

433: TFA let me read it through MS Edge's InPrivate window, which is rare for The Post.  If the plaintiffs really do have a case, and I doubt they've brought it based on evidence from locations in one city and dirty kitchens, it's the kind of thing that could bring a massive sandwich chain down for a year or few while no one really notices and goes about their day anyway.  Shame that's where we are.

This is an interesting one to watch.  I've bought crap and known it, but getting served a lie at a higher price is galling.

"Dirty kitchens" wouldn't cause "no tuna whatsoever" results. That's not how good labs work. If they did take samples of actual Subway "toona" to a legit food lab and it said "no tuna here" it would be pretty damning. I'm sure whatever The Corp brings into Court will be line-caught bluefin in handmade aioli.
