The twice-impeached former president

While I do like the way that phrase rolls off the tongue and think it should be appended to Trump's name in every news article that mentions him, it's missing a reference to the fact that he served only one term. While my initial thought was to use this instead:

The twice-impeached former one-term president

I don't really like where the word "former" rest in the order of words. It seems to be modifying one-term, as if that's the status that is somehow "former." But then I started thinking, well, if he was one-term, the "former" status is already implied. So we can just eliminate it, reduce redundancy, and be left with:

The twice-impeached and one-term president

I like the addition of "and" here because using it as a separation between the two descriptors (twice-impeached, one-term) adds a verbal weight to each of them individually that simply using a comma does not. That's what I think I'll go with in the future.

As always I'll believe something will happen when we see something happening. Until then, the "ain't nothing gon' happen" is practically undefeated. This country doesn't have the stomach to confront the corrupt.

Precisely why Trump insists on living at Mar-a-Lago in violation of his agreement is also unclear.

Oh, I have some insight on this, article writer. It's because he believes that laws are for other people.

Then when he's not evicted or arrested for breaking them, he'll be proven right and inspire others to do the same. Or he'll pay some pithy fine for the privilege of doing what he wants.

/Hope that helps

Pretty much.  It's usually takes awhile though, with all the paperwork.

Of course, because of this particular individual, you might see things like building inspectors, health inspectors, code compliance officers, etc. come out to take a closer look at the property too.  And then, it flags your insurance... which means your rates go up...

Well, that settles it then, case closed.

Seems like.

He could also spend a night in one of the three (!) residences he owns within a mile of MaL - per TFA, one is literally across the street.

But I'm guessing those accommodations are not NEARLY as swanky as MaL (and probably don't have a cadre of paid waitstaff at his beck and call), and it looks like he has tenants in those houses anyway.

Effectively.

Somebody will eventually get around to sending him a letter that tells him to leave by some deadline, and if that even happens sometime after that deadline passes a followup letter will be sent and maybe his lawyers will respond in another letter and there'll be lawsuits and motions to delay etc etc ad nauseum but at no point between now and the heat death of the universe will anyone actually remove DJT Ratings Machine from the building.

At most this whole issue will cost him a few thousand bucks in attorney fees that he'll either also not pay or pay out of his giant pot of Stop the Steal money.
