"Look, I'm not saying climate change isn't happening. I'm just saying that it's normal, it's something that's happened in the past without human involvement, and it's unreasonable hubris to think that it's happening now because of humans. And anyway, there's no certainty that anything we try to do about it will help, and it may make it worse. And all the things we could try to do to halt it involve regulating industries that could cost thousands of jobs and hurt the economy and yes, I've got a little money invested in the goal mines and the petroleum industry and logging companies, but that doesn't mean anything."

It's because many people don't even have the intelligence of a frog.

The sea is a liberal hoax.  How could that much water not just seep into the ground?

We had a way to deal with Carbon Dioxide, they even create Oxygen in the process, but we chopped lots of them down to build McMansions.

If only Lithium Hydroxide canisters were scalable.

"And look, the Earth was far warmer in the past and it got along just fine.  Admittedly, there weren't any people back then, but I'm sure things will work out fine even though our entire society is based upon agriculture optimized for cooler temperatures.  Besides, I'll be dead by then so who cares?"

People have been yelling that Covid is a Democrat hoax just before needing to be put on a ventilator in order for them to not die from covid, so why is this surprising, subby?

I could enjoy some warming, bring it on!

Don't worry, they'll let you everyone know every time they have an inch of "global warming" on their lawn.

It doesn't help when they see the Overmaster class buying ocean side property.  The same over masters telling them the seas are rising.  And the same over masters using more carbon resources than most underchuds.  We all agree the oceans are rising, but who is supposed to stop using carbon?  Just the underchuds?  The over masters get to continue their jet set life, because they are the chosen people for being over masters?  Get the over masters to use less carbon than an underchuds, and that will show the underchuds they mean business.  But it won't happen.  Because they want to live the jet set life.

JFC! How many times do I have to say this:

global warming and climate change are not the same thing.

Global warming - when the average temperature over the whole globe and course of a year has an increasing trend.
Climate change - when the characteristic temperatures and weather patterns in an area change. This determines what plants and animals can thrive in the area.

You'd think a real estate developer who has most of his properties in coastal resort cities would care about global warming.  I guess there was better money to be made grifting oil and coal companies?

When the last climate change "skeptic" dies of hunger after a freak snow storm in May destroys the last harvest, he will still insist it's all a liberal hoax.
