I've never been a member of a union, but I know the good they can do.

But nowadays, it's the same as it has been employment for decades: "You should be grateful you have a job, you ingrate, and stop asking to be paid a living wage."

Most pro sport support staff make very little.  The teams could get rid of their worst player, or the team could agree to a small pay cut to keep their staff afloat during the pandemic.
But those 20 Escalades for their crew and trips to Vegas don't come cheap.

and sometimes, actually all the time, real power is in the population.  not a bunch of lazy sit at home stock owners living off of other people's Labor at 15% capital gains tax rate when Labor pays 25 to 30% tax rate on their paychecks.

nice try, though.


Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.
