somedude210: fragMasterFlash: Its been a few years since I shined up a pair of silenced silverballer pistols and whacked some baddies. Perhaps I'll pick that one up when it winds up in a Steam sale event.

The first one of the new series is really good. Haven't gotten to the second one yet. The third won't happen for decades at this pace

The...article is about hitman 3.

what are you on about?

Well, guess I'm gonna have to stop playing that now.

How disheartening.

fallingcow: scottydoesntknow: fallingcow: A few years back I tried to get into the series with the very first one, and thought it sucked. Tried again a little while later, same result.

Should I just jump in at a later game? Which one?

When you say "very first one" do you mean the first one ever, made back in 2000, or the reboot that started in 2016? A lot has changed between the OG and reboot, but not much changes between them.

The former.

Try out 2016 and see what you think. It's much, much different from the first iterations. More 'open world' with more options. It can be super easy, or a biatch to get through depending on what settings you want and how you want to play it. The multitude of ways to take out targets adds replay value.

One of my favorite times was in Hitman 2 there was a level with a mansion where you had to take out the owner of it. But during Christmas they had an event that decorated the entire mansion in Christmas decorations AND had Harry and Marv from Home Alone as targets. You could also take out Santa Clause, dress as him, and wreck some havoc.

Hoban Washburne: One of the truly great aspect of the game, going back to the original, was being able to beat each mission ing the most creative, or alternatively most aggressive manner possible. It's sq

Stupid baby hitting the add comment button.... it's not hard to imagine someone with enough time on their hands figuring out a super quick mission completion.  But just because it is possible does not mean that's how it is intended to be played.
