As a member, I have not received any information about how this process will go forward. I mostly have the network to watch PPVs, so it will be nice to pay less for that. But when will this happen? Do I need to cancel my subscription or will it be transferred over? Do I need to do anything with regards to the auto-payment?

It's all very unclear.

Not to mention whether there is any availability of Peacock in foreign markets.

Article said they will give subscribers more details as they get closer to Fastlane

I think the changeover is supposed to happen by March 18th.

How does that affect us in Canuckistan? Oh right we will continue to get gouged I'm sure

Would that grant any access to pre-nwo WCW?  That could be entertaining.

Interesting move.  The sheer number of streaming services out there for specific content is not sustainable so this may be a sign of things to come for the niche items.  DC Universe TV was rolled into HBO Max.

They have always been buddies with NBC Universal networks(USA SyFy).

Outside of the US, things will continue as currently.. for now.

Within the US, WWE Network is shutting down completely, with all content and users migrated to Peacock.

I don't understand why companies like NBC and/or Fox are willing to pay so much money for such a shiatty product.

I'll mock Vince's ability to manage his own product day and night, but damn were they far ahead on the streaming game. Was a niche risk but they did a rather decent job with the content and management

I might consider subscribing at $5/month if only to get access to their library which has a ton of classic stuff. from other promotions that Vince consumed in his quest to become the only game in town.

I think this is where I point out you can watch RAW tonight and talk about all this in one of our wonderful fWc discussion threads, the next of which will go live very shortly.

This could be a precursor to Comcast/whoever-the-parent-company-is buying the WWE outright

agreed.  I subscribed as soon as it came out; over the course of a couple years i watched pretty much all 80's/early 90s WWF, and then consumed all three years of quality attitude era.

looking at peacocks site, yeah. i could spend 10 bucks a month to get another stab at binging WWE network and a handful of NBC's content.

lol.  once WWF got to the "how much does this guy weigh?" era, i skipped out and lost interest, only catching it on occasion... i was a freshman in high school.  it wasn't until junior year, late 96 that wrestling became cool again.

I remember bastion booger, i don't remember ever seeing a TL hopper or a mantaur match.  But i am perfectly happy watching all pay per views from 87-93 again and again.

Anyone know if they ever put the original Superstars episodes on the network?  those always had tons of promos and storyline continuations, I hated that i couldn't explore all of that plus fantastic squash matches over and over again.

In the 80s, you could watch the AWA out of Minneapolis on ESPN.

Such athleticism. Nick Bockwinkel especially.

Something tells me this is more of a possibility than vince passing it down to the kids.

Mainly cause vince saw how Trump's kids failed. So he would rather them not tarnish his legacy, if it's sold to a multi national, blame can be spread while the family cashes out

They kept it up through the AWA Team Challenge Series, which was...oh boy. It was my first time watching any production circle the drain.

On the plus side, I got to see Baron von Raschke. On the other hand, I have seen more than my fair share of Jake "The Milkman" Milliman matches.

/ Which is more than one.

Because it wasn't always a shiatty product which the network proves

Cause content companies buy content that people watch. It's not rocket science, not everybody likes what you like.
