After testimony at a detention hearing Friday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Frensley for the Middle District of Tennessee determined that Munchel wasn't a flight risk and didn't pose harm to the public.

...because he was white. Any Muslim or Mexican or Black person carrying zip ties while storming the Capitol would already be dead or heavily secured.

If it was anything other than a white movement, it would have been shut down in the planning phase.

This judge has no respect for the feelings of the economically anxious.

As we complain about the lack of arrests, a reminder that the judiciary implanted by McConnell is as much of a problem

Good.

Your donations at work, defending America's terrorists.

Yeah, no.  He needs to stay in jail with the other insurrectionists.  Preferably bound with zip ties.

Apparently this yahoo's defense is claiming that he "found" the flexcuffs, and was merely bringing them to the nearest Capitol police officer.

Good. People who are still playing the Q Game after January 6th need to be beat over the head with the fact that, while the clues and theories are all fake, acting on them will bring very real consequences. These people need to be brought back down to earth, and while this alone won't do it, it needs to be part of our response.

That is what most cosplaytriots are doing considering many have a Punisher patch on their getup somewhere.

According to court records, an FBI search of Munchel's home turned up the tactical gear he wore in the Jan. 6 storming of the Capitol, five pair of plastic handcuffs, multiple weapons, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a drum-style magazine.

Yeah, that should automatically label him as nothing more than a cosplayer. Drum magazines are notoriously unreliable. Having one should get a foot in the door for an insanity plea.

I brought in genital cuffs into the Capital and everyone looked at me weird, so I preceded down the road to the "Let's Not Go Sucking Each Other's Dicks Just Yet" rally, but they weren't ready yet.

Shame he hates our government so much. He's looking to become a long-term guest of our government's penal system in the near future. Why isn't his piece of shiat egg donor locked up too?

And not a one of them grasp the irony of wearing punisher gear. They've perverted the logo to mean something entirely different than it meant in other media.

Don't hate. He just marches to the beat of a different drum-style magazine.

Probably meant "lack of arrests the day of the attack" due to the police knowingly being unprepared.

There was a Twitter thread sometime over the weekend about just this, though I can't seem to find it. A black insurrectionist was pissed because he got denied bail and was shocked that all these white insurrectionists were basically given a pat on the head and sent home. And if that's not the definition of "play stupid games, win stupid prizes," I don't know what is.

They're going to have to subpoena his credit card receipts and stuff, discovery is going to be lots of fun.

He might want to keep Saul Goodman's number handy.

So from the same page: 38 Capitol officers and 150 National Guardsmen test positive for COVID-19
If any of the National Guardsmen or DCP don't pull through, can we add their deaths to the charges against all of these nut cutlets?
Maybe a separate manslaughter charge for each death, to run consecutively?

Based on the available court docs, I believe it.

Images before they entered- no flex cuffs. Capitol Surveillance footage inside, the cuffs are on their exterior and visible.

They stashed their firearms in a bag on Capitol grounds because they didn't want to increase the charges on them, however he did carry his taser which was a felony..

I have no doubt that some Proud Boy/Oathkeepers would drop off bags of flex cuffs and other devices

I mean, obviously. I just thought it was odd that they'd even get the hearing at all so fast but maybe that's normal.

Maybe he just wanted to hang up a banner from the gallery without putting any holes in the banister and damaging federal property. Is being extra careful really such a crime?

Its the other ziptie guy, Larry Brock, who I want investigated under a microscope.  He's the one who claimed to be on an "Operation", and seemed comfortable with ordering other insurrectionists around.

/I mean, the TFA guy brought his mom along with him.  That's either incredibly bad OPSEC, or real good OPSEC, (as cover, and confusing the narrative),

I blame the judge(s) who coddled the Branch Dildoians. By letting those terrorists free, they sent a message to every sh*t-kicking inbred Jed out there that it's OK to attack our government and elected representatives as if murder is OK so long as it's being done to "lib" or "RINO".

I have a .22LR drum magazine that actually does cycle reliably.

However, it also pushes my arm awkwardly and throws off my aim so I do not use it anymore.

oh yeah, just look at all these people getting arrested.  i have seen people being treated worse for refusing to leave a store at the mall.  just because you hear about flexcuff guy and qshaman, what about all these jackasses (particularly the one that shouts "next time we come back, we won't be peaceful!" at about the -1:07 mark. seriously wtf?)

Munchel is charged with violent entry and disorderly conduct on the Capitol grounds, conspiracy and civil disorder. He faces up to 20 years if convicted.

Answered my own question. Arrainment must occur with 72 hours of arrest. I probably should have known that...
