Hmmm, I've seen about 90% of the films on the list.

It's Screamin' Jay Hawkins, and he's a wild man, so bug off.

I'd have replaced one of the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness entries with Bubba Ho-Tep. but a good list.

I want to know why there are two characters from "Freaks" in the top image when that movie isn't even mentioned in the article. I'm outraged!!

Eraser Head is quite amazing to watch on a mushroom trip.

I have seen eleven of those movies.
Spinal Tap is still on my watch list, I don't know why I haven't watched it yet.

I couldn't make it through MacGruber.

Solid list.  Most of these should be essential viewing for anyone who wants to see themselves as a cinephile.  Having said that:  for the love of god, don't watch Kids.

Also, you can't have a list of Spinal Tap quotes without "she must be made to smell the glove."

I would argue, but I won't, that several of this films aren't really cult films.  Just because a film didn't hit big with mainstream audiences doesn't mean it was subversive or deviant.  I think a good third of the films on the list are simply wacky, but not films your grandparents would like.  Other films are ones I'm sure were ones that were expected to hit it big by challenging an audience, but didn't connect.

An amazing semi-autobiographical film by Gary Oldman.

Frances Ashman - Peculiar Groove

This song puts the film on another level for me.

Akuinnen: I couldn't make it through MacGruber.

I had the same reaction. At first. I saw this in a theater opening day and was having doubts about its quality. Then the scene with Powers Booth and the copier toner happened and I became a big fan of Will Forte and this movie.

Yeah, I can easily see why one would not like MacGruber, but it hit all the right comedic notes for me.  Looking forward to seeing what they do with the Peacock series.

Not a bad list overall.  I sort of lost count, but I think I've seen about 30 of the 50.

Missing "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension".

I like all the same cult movies that everyone else does.

This is actually a pretty decent list. I'd add the following:

Leon (aka The Professional)

Withnail & I

"A Face in the Crowd"
Not sure if that could be considered a cult movie.

A list so good that it's going to make me check out The Ringer and this tab more often.
