Man, if the Patriots had built.a team around him instead of dumping him, who knows where they'd have ended up this year.

Best not to dwell on it.

He walked onto a team full of Pro Bowlers and has literally been the worst player on both sides of the ball in the last two weeks.

The Pats would have won two or three more games with him and the team they had this year.

So do the Bucs get the little extras from playing at home, like the pirate ship firing its cannons?

I think it's one pass interference per half and one roughing the passer to be used at TB's discretion

Yeah Gronk would not have come back and the pats were done with Antonio Brown for good just to mention a couple things off the top of my head.

Not the pats being awful part. That's dead on. They were terrible last year. The part where Brady was the worst player on both sides of the ball. Just because he threw 3 picks today doesn't mean shiat. He threw the tds he needed to get through. Evans needs a hands class.

3 ints doesn't win superbowls. Not against Mahomes. But I agree that the Pat's cupboards are bare. I think they need a few years to re arm their offense, and then get the stud QB to get things moving again.

Worked fine against the league MVP. Like I said, Evans needs a refresher course of how to catch with his hands.

You mean someone who plays in an era where 14 teams make the 3-4 round postseason has way more playoff wins than a guy who played when two teams played one postseason championship game?

Next thing you'll tell me is Tom Brady has beaten more individual franchises than Johnny Unitas.

So because it's never been detected, he must be really good at cheating the tests? That's ridiculous. Hell, if he's been doping in his career, they would have busted him during Spygate. They had to come up with that cell phone crap instead just to punish him.

If you told any NFL player outside Patrick Mahomes that you could go to the Super Bowl by just flipping heads on a coin, and you could win that Super Bowl by flipping another heads, they'd take it in a heartbeat.

Whether you like it or not, that's roughly TB's ratio since 2001. That's ridiculously consistent.

Look I dont like the guy much either, but SB 52 he did put up 505 YDS, 3 TDs...  he just happened to lose the game.
And 3 INTs were pretty bad yesterday, but the Pack did jack shiat with them. Pack had every chance to stay in and win that game and they blew it.  going for the FG was a stupid decision at the end.  play to win.
the pass interference to ice the game was indeed pass interference, but holy hell they didnt call that the entire game until that play.

While they pinned it on him the goal was to punish the Patriots. The NFL does whatever it takes to enforce parity on the teams so every owner gets his turn holding a Lombardi Trophy, and dynasties mess that up. Just wait and see what happens to KC once they've won a couple more. My guess is that they're assuming Andy Reid won't last long enough to keep it going, but if he does they'll find something to ding them on.

Really? I thought he was 2-2 or 2-1 in Super Bowls without controversies.

First three wins - part of spygate (before it became known).

First two losses against the Giants (and his win against the Seahawks) - part of deflategate (before it was known).

I've got his win against the Falcons (28-3 comeback), his loss against the Foles-QBed Eagles and his 2018 win against the Rams as all without any controversy whatsoever... no?

So 2-1 in Super Bowls not marred by any controversy. (In the game thread yesterday I came up to 2-2, probably because the 2007 loss against the Giants was also not really linked to anything... but if we're going to claim any SB prior to a scandal is tainted by the following scandal, then deflategate affects those that came before 2014 as well).

Now, to be clear, I don't believe any of those "scandals" really amount to anything. Spygate is about where the video camera filmed from (all teams film their opponents and try to get their signals to have a competitive edge).

Deflategate is the stupidest, dumbest thing ever, and notice that now that the balls are supposedly monitored randomly, Brady's performance has gone down dramatically. Or not.
