Which one is this?

I don't know why the show removed all references to her. It wasn't her cooking that killed the kid.

Yeah, whenever I hear of a couple suddenly taking on multiple foster children, I get suspicious. Not judgy, just suspicious.

Worst Cooks in America, a competition between people with admittedly poor cooking skills.

I fu*cking HATE reality TV-- and I don't even watch any of it.

If that's how one defines "worst cooks," that doesn't sound like one of the worst murderers in America.

Sounds as if he is a highly successful murderer.

Fred Rodgers was one of the worst murderers in America.

/or, perhaps, a highly successful one.

Americas foster care system seriously needs attention. Funding for more check ups and background checks and all of that.

Those poor kids. Jesus.

Did he kill 400,000+ people?
Otherwise, he's gotta ways to go before getting anywhere close to the current reality tv star murder record.

How do you retire at 29? From teaching, no less.

Benevolent Misanthrope: Yeah, whenever I hear of a couple suddenly taking on multiple foster children, I get suspicious. Not judgy, just suspicious.

I had a neighbor who grew up in the foster system. One of the houses he got sent to-and-from a few times was very remote and usually had a dozen kids there. The agency would send somebody out about once a year early 70s, they'd say, Oh that kid got sent away months ago, wasn't working out.

The father was an undertaker. When my neighbor got really drunk he'd start talking about a swimming pool that kids fought in, and he'd say "I never wanted to hurt anybody!" and change the subject. I don't know the specifics, but my imagination came up with how an undertaker could scam the foster system.

Is it wrong that my first thought was "FFS, why couldn't we discover that Guy Fieri had beat a toddler to death..."?

Seriously, though, I love how Food Network went "NOPE" and just erased the entire season like it never happened, likely on the off chance that they could be sued for making money off the publicity of having a child-beating monster win one of their shows.

I saw a "docu-drama" about Dahmer in the 90s.
It looked like it was filmed with handheld cameras in an empty apartment building.

It was still the most disturbing thing I'd ever seen.

Found it:

There was a piece on NPR this morning regarding giving a voice to kids in the foster care system.

My second spouse grew up in the system after the death of his adoptive parents--he was treated very badly.

His inability to connect with another person resulted in me in the hospital and the end of the marriage.

I've got a grandmother and a first cousin of my father who were teachers for a while and then became stay at home moms when they started a family.  The latter got back into for a little while after being an empty nester.

I've never bought into this show.  When I was 18 and moved out of the parental unit's place (first day I could without dad calling the cops on me) and had no cooking training from mom nor school, I did better than every faruking one of the idiots on this show.

/ on that day I also let my hair grow long

/// '70s, dad was a Southern Baptist a-hole I reconciled with in my 30s.

You can retire without any pension or benefits.  I guess her plan to retire on 25k game show money and sweet sweet foster care money didn't pan out.  Seriously though this child died of several blunt force traumas, that doesn't happen by accident.  If all the other children haven't been removed already that's a shame on the state.  This woman needs to be canceled from the Earth.
