How the hell did they disguise a motel room as arizona tea cans?

Option A: Deny everything, claim whatever was found was put there after you left or was already in the room and you picked it up because it had nice packaging, but you aren't a tea drinker.
Option B: Fight with staff, demand drugs back.

Guess which option a methhead will go for.

A staff member at the Sunbelt Lodge in Abbeville, Louisiana called police after finding the remains of methamphetamines that had been left behind by a former guest.

According to Lt. Johnathan Touchet, eight one-ounce packages of meth were located inside the false tea cans.

Note to the author of the article: Half a pound of meth is not the remains of anything. A fella could have a pretty good week in Vegas with that much crank.

Was anyone else shocked to find TFA's lucky winner to be a black chick? It involves meth; it's supposed to be a skinny white guy.

Says who?  A half pound can easily be remnants and area rugs.  Depends on what you're up to and who's with you and how long.  Don't etch their sketch, man!

/disclaimer: feel free to etch away
//it's definitely on my, "Christ no!" list due to it's tendency to turn people into complete farking psychotics
///I'm kinda picky like that - and I'm plenty psycho already

Hotel front desk staff are likely to have both constantly recording video cameras and a panic button to the local police.  And it's unwise to antagonize the only person who can make room keys.

Don't fark with us.

It's completely unprofessional to rook about in a persons belongings. Proper conduct would have been to set the odd looking tea cans aside in case the customer came back. If you work the front desk at a hotel/motel you are there to be discreet, kind and courteous. Professional. You sound like someone who has been given an inch of power and has to take it the whole nine yards.

I virtually never enter the rooms at all, and I have no idea where your crazy accusation came from.

I'm just saying, don't threaten us.  It won't go well for you.

Willie Nelson has a couple of lines from a song that fit here...

Almost busted in Laredo
But for reasons that I'd rather not disclose
But if you're stayin' in a motel there and leave
Just don't leave nothin' in your clothes

Ridiculous and completely unprofessional. If I want to give the housekeeper some meth, I'll put it in the little tip envelope. That's what it's for!

Cans that are full of bags of meth tend to feel quite different from cans full of liquid; it is not surprising that the cleaning staff would notice something suspicious when they picked up the cans that the customer left behind.

Being a professional has nothing to do with aiding and abetting someone's criminal enterprise.

I saw this comment as a joke and  no harm. Also I hope she gets help and back on her feet. It is a long long road to come back from. Slamming folks in jail is not the way to fix things and should be a last resort.
