I had to zoom in on my phone. For a second I thought that QAnon was using "follow us on Gab" as a slogan.

There still may be too many of them to save this democracy, combined with the disengaged, fat-ass citizenry that can barely be bothered to shrug their fat, ambivalent shoulders, coupled with senior Democratic 'leadership' still in love with the fantasies of 'bipartisanship' and 'honest people that can disagree but love this country'.

Dear Arizona GOP

You have no idea what you are doing. I can't think of the proper fairy tale for this but this will in fact swallow you & everyone you hold dear whole. Frankenstein's monster, "reap the whirlwind," magician's apprentice, none of it comes close to the hurt you are bringing on yourself.

The best is perhaps to say you've found something fluffy & cute you think will unify your base, but instead you've brought something truly wild, ungovernable, & insatiable into your homes.

You may be even further gone than I expect: you might actually believe QAnon rather than cynically using them; it makes no difference. "Nothing can stop what is coming," right?

What does that phrase mean to you? If you told your 2017 self that this would mean a violent incursion into the US Capitol where 5 people died that day, 2 others committed suicide in the next week & over 100 of your fellow-travelers got arrested while your leader went silent for months & the guy your leader represented, the former president, lost election & left office?

No one has the map but everyone's clutching for the wheel: wherever it winds up pointing is where they believe they were always headed.

What will "No one can stop what is coming" mean in 12 months? Will it mean a shooting war? How many of your fellow countrywomen are you willing to kill? Remember: they will be shooting back. How many if your friends are you willing to see killed by your fellow countrymen? Because that's where escalation will take you. We've had deaths already. Escalation means more deaths. Escalation means being dragged along a path to ever more perilous confrontations. The only true path forward is detente. We can truly de-escalate if you take steps to reconcile & break apart the militarization path. This is the path we want to take, all 300 million of us. But it has to begin with radical honesty.

Thanks, Republicans.

You are destroying our economy.

Good job you farking imbeciles,

These people are terrorists and should be treated as such.

Seems derivative of "Stormfront" the white supremacist site that believes a race war is inevitable.

Seems the Texas GOP supports instigating a race war, which means supporting murdering Americans, which makes them the bad people.

Are the Qcumbers going to get labeled domestic terrorists? I can't remember if the Christmas Day Memphis RV bomb weirdo was a Q adherent or not, but I do remember the guy that shot the mafia boss a while back maybe had a tattoo or some other crazy. Point is, these people are getting weirder or more dangerous imo.

Or do you just mean publicly, to which I ask they were not already?

If that many people are part of the QAnon cult, then it's not a question of if it will come to blood, it's only when. You absolutely cannot have this many people disagree on fundamental reality without it coming to blows. This is kinda why Europe was wracked with almost 500 years of on-again-off-again war.

Some people are going to try and tell you that the GOP was not Trump, and shiat like this should serve as a constant reminder that Trump's fascism didn't just spring out of the ether.

Allen West, the Texas GOP's newly elected chairman, has said previously that the slogan has no connection to the theory, and instead comes from a quote he often recites at speaking events: "The devil whispers into the warrior's ear, 'You cannot withstand the coming storm.' The warrior whispers back, 'I am the storm.'"

"The we are the storm poem is one of Chairman West's favorite quotes to use in speeches," The Republican Party of Texas said in a statement. "He and the entire Texas GOP will not be bullied by partisan leftists in the media into ceding powerful phrases with biblical roots - taken from Psalm 29 - to Internet conspiracy groups."

That quote has nothing whatsoever to do with Psalm 29.  The whole notion of a devil would be out of place in most of the Old Testament - as Judaism doesn't have the same concept of a sentient embodiment of evil like Christianity - and if it were part of the Old Testament, it would almost certainly end with "God is the storm".  When the OT describes conflicts, it virtually always gives all credit for victory to God, not to the armies of Israel.

While I probably agree with you more than disagree, the Garden of Eden story is the basis for the OT and the serpent would be the sentient embodiment of evil I would say.

How so? God lied that day "If you eat this fruit you will surely die today."

The serpent only told the truth. "If you eat that fruit you will be more like them."

Before eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil how were Adam and Eve even supposed to know that disobeying God was a sin? They didn't understand the difference between good and evil.

The real takeaway from that story is that at best God is an asshole and at worst He is the one who is evil.

Julie Newmar was sexy, but Eartha Kitt just had something else. I think it was her sexy voice. That's why she was the perfect Yzma on The Emperor's New Groove. "Oh, Kronk..." And she was hotter than Beyoncé. My dad had a thing for her and for Nichelle Nichols.
