Sounds like he's the black sheep loser of the family
"Dad was a cop, brother is secret service, I 'own' a gym"

Secret Service huh?  They hire dudes with family ties to terrorists?  NO WAY would he get clearance with that potential blemish.  Too easy to manipulate.

Jaws_Victim: Biden's ultimate "unity" move: pardoning the least of the rioters. Telling them they were lied to by a bad man, and they deserve to be forgiven and welcomed back to an America that wants to heal.

I am not into it.

Huge mistake.  Give them exactly the charges BLM protesters would have received had they pulled the same shiat.

IamTomJoad: SonOfSpam: Scott Fairlamb, a former ultimate fighter, got pulled into the "conspiracy theory vortex," one associate said.

No, he jumped in with both feet.

I'm tired of hearing people related claiming they were "sucked in" The the Q nonsense.

They saw it on YouTube and either don't have any friends or family they talk to regularly that nipped it in the bud or they are surrounded by like minded people that feed the cycle.

Either way they didn't "slip" under some spell

Republicans would rather encourage Q-Anonism than mental health treatment because Q-Anon's vote R whereas those receiving mental health treatment vote D.

Is that abuse?  You bet.  Its time for a 50 states consent decree against the GOP.

I don't disagree about the punishment. But that is not the face of a man who has ever "known better" about anything in his whole life.. If he owns a gym, it's because he got fired from every job he ever had, so his parents tried to set him up in business.

Any bets if he had a PBA courtesy card or badge on him when he was beating and trying to kill a police officer trying to do their job?

Professional bowling association? Those guy are crazy

Beer frame!

*i just realized that might be too regional and potentially obscure*

Isn't every frame a beer frame, though?

In WI, yes.

To be fair, that's where the majority of my bowling occurs. Actually, I have only ever bowled in WI.

AllCatsAreBeautiful: Why are we not declaring these people to be enemy combatants and directly send them to Guantanamo Bay?

Because they were caught on US Soil.  Guantanamo Bay can only legally be used for people who are caught on foreign soil.

But if they sneak into say Canada or Mexico and accidentally trip into a US endorsed mercenary van and the driver gets lost and ends up just past the doorstep of the US Embassy, then they can end up there.

I have bowled outside of WI once.  The place didn't have beer frames and that kinda ticked me off.

Why even bowl then?

/Full disclosure, I love bowling, do it with my kids, and don't drink while I'm with them.

orneryredguy: That's a nasty Y.  The one I went to before things went all COVID-y was actually rather nice.  Damn pricy, but nice.

yeah, the kids working there had zero interest in enforcement/conflict. at the time, my brother had developed a sudden obsession in becoming a LiftBro, and the free weights and machines area? was tbh pretty well maintained. I'd spend an hour or two on the bikes or elliptical, and that was perfectly boringly nominal and clean. it was only the pool/whirlpool/wet-sauna/dry-sauna that... no one seemed to give a shiat. which honestly is much more egregious (to me, ennaways) than if e.g. someone didn't wipe down a bike or a bench after lifting.

I am a highly educated bowler. I went to college for that shiat.  No, seriously, I needed a 1 credit elective outside of the business school so I took bowling. It was fantastic, and I got an A, along with my high game of 211. Never broken 160 since.

noice!

my best-ever was 190. in cub-scouts. so that would have been, hrm, mid-80s? not even close never-since.

but these days, even tho' I do enjoy bowling, my shoulder will separate at the very slightest of encouragements, lol. so, no.

what I really need to do is try learning southpaw...

and actually, that's quite funny, so... $mai_waifu is left-handed. evil sinister and all of that. she used to suck very badly at bowling.

me: but why are you using your right hand?
hers: well that's how people do.
me: dude, you are left-handed, maybe try that?

lololol, she started hitting strikes nearly every time...

/she got her knuckles rapped by nuns so very much as a kid, being a lefty is apparently wrong

I'm curious what his brother has to say about this...
