DNRTFA, but my favorites are:

CO2 level in your lungs - it's why fresh air "feels" good.
Propriocentrism - How you know where your hand is when you can't see it.

There are as many as 20 senses.  Proprioception (sense of knowing where your limbs are even if you can't see them), chronoception (sense of the passage of time), equilibrioception (sense of balance), kinaesthesia (sense of motion), thermoception (sense of temperature), interoception (sense of knowing what's going on inside your body, such as feeling hungry, thirsty, or nauseous), etc.  We've known that for years now.

Friend of mine once said "Gravity detection is a sense - you've even got a sense organ for it!" and yeah, that's one thing your inner ear does.  Whether you're trying to walk upright or swinging through the trees, either way you need it.

What about priaproception .. the awareness of having an unwanted boner...

I suppose that depends on the boner and who is doing the wanting.

Remember in 8th grade when the teacher asks you to solve a problem on the board?

Don't you remember being in Junior High and being afraid to stand up and go to the board because you sprouted a surprise woody? I hated the days when Anne Marie Cacarro would wear her short skirts. Great to look at and fond memories for late night sock time but it made the days hard, IYKWIMAITYD.

Moreover animals have senses that we don't, such as echolocation (sonar), magnetoreception and electroreception (detection of magnetic and electric fields, respectively), polychromacy (sense of seeing 4, 5, or in the case of the mantis shrimp 14 primary colors, that expand into infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths), photoreception (how plants sense light), and pheromones (sense of detecting chemicals).

The "five senses" thing hasn't been taught since at least the 70s.

If the four senses mentioned in the bible were good enough for Jesus Christ, they should be good enough for everyone.

That would be homoception and taurofecoception, respectively.

I don't know the name for it, but the sense every working father has that alerts him whenever someone touches a thermostat within 500 yards of where he's sitting...

You can't deny they exist.  Eating Chipotle's red hot death sauce and waiting about 12 hours should be proof enough.  You'll "taste" the heat a second time.

Fark is gonna make me dig out an old book of my dad's called The Seven Mysteries of Life by Guy Murchie. It lists 32 senses grouped into a few categories...

Author is clearly not using a strict scientific definition of sense, but its insightful even if some of them are a stretch

I only recently learned that chronoception was a thing. I don't mean learned the name, I legitimately didn't know people were able to perceive how much time passes, because I can't. I can tell that time has passed, but how much is a complete mystery to me, and I thought that was just how it was for everyone. Turns out that's a common symptom of ADHD, which I really need to get an assessment for.
