"Putin told me he didn't want any more treaties"

Obviously. The hack Trump had running negotiations wanted China (a nation with ~200 strategic weapons) to join a treaty with nations that have 1500 strategic weapons each. Why? He still hasn't said. The only clear motivation for doing that was to torpedo the treaty so the US could instantly expand our number of deployed strategic weapons.

I'm going down to reduce nuclear arms proliferation
So they don't end up in the wrong foreign lands

That right...
I gave him the pen...
He signed it...

I can see now why the violent overthrow of the election was so important.

It doesn't matter.  Who gives a shiat if the US and Russia have enough nuclear weapons to blow up the planet ten times instead of five times?  Stop farking around and ban them entirely.

/ the Russians, not nuclear weapons.
// why not both?

Putin puppets never seem to do what Putin wants.

Why is that?

I wonder if Biden threatened to send Hillary to talk to him.

Say what you will about Putin, he's no Stalin. Stalin knew how to get what he wanted, and his people loved him for it, including those who died at the hands of his personal military, it's incomprehensible to us in the west but it was a normal day in Soviet Russia if uniformed folks turned up and put a bullet in your brain that you'd say "Long Live Stalin" just before that bullet found its target.

/Stalin literally murdered tens of millions of Soviet citizens but remains far more popular than Putin in the "favourite Russian leader" polls, google the details and you'll find I'm right

Russia wanted to keep the whole shebang, it was the US that unilaterally withdraw from them. And started testing the banned weaponry on the next day, as if you develop this shiat overnight.

Wait, what? The Biden foreign policy /State Department-elect /diplomatic corps did something like this in just 3 days? Why, the only way that would be possible is if they made a phone call before Inauguration Day and said "we're going to be in charge on the 20th. The current gang won't sign the extension, but we will."

Nobody can think that far ahead. It's literally impossible.

Nice headline subby.  Joe just needs to slip a hit under his headband before negotiating the depths of the treaty

Did Russia want to keep the whole shebang or want Trump to tank the deals on their behalf so they could get what they wanted while staying blameless?

Isn't that what they were investigating Flynn for when they interviewed him, Logan Act?

The latter, they wanted an excuse to funnel off money while 'rebuilding their arsenal' while Trump looks like an unconscionable madman.

The position of Russia has always been to extend the treaties. This is a fact, which is easily confirmed by their position in the negotiations. It is also a fact that the US withdrew unilaterally, and that this unilateral withdrawal of the USA from those treaties wasn't a one-man job.Of course, you can try to spin what actually happened into any conspiracy theory of your liking, but I'm afraid you'd be no different than any moonhoaxer or stopthestealer or birther if you do that.Oh, wait...

Yes....because an almost 2 month transition doesn't do ANY future planning or coordinating for after they take over...

What kind of idiot are you? I mean, are calendars witchcraft to you? God help yea if you ever find out about the Farmers Almanac...

The only issue with ANY treaty with Russia is they are essentially toilet paper. Russian (like the GOP) can and WILL do whatever it wants no matter what you have on paper.

Right now, they are playing nice because they are in far worse shape than they want to admit but you best believe the second they need/want to start screwing around with nukes they will.

Not even mentioning that who knows what all weapons the US and Russia are playing with that aren't or haven't even been codified yet. Remember, Mustard Gas was legal UNTIL after it was used in WW1... Given modern science, let's hope enough of us are still around to ban whatever crazy shiat comes next.

Son, don't take this the wrong way, but you're dumber than a bag of hammers.

Calm your righteous ass down, go back and re-read what I wrote, and then think about it for at least 15 seconds. If it takes you 20, that's OK. Take all the time you need.
