Don't forget Rosenstein is the reason there was never a counter intelligence investigation of republicans working with Russians in 2016 and he blocked any review of trump's financial records to see who had leverage over donnie

I'm so shocked that Jeff Sessions is a lying piece of shiat. Until now, I'd always thought that he was was a regular piece of shiat.

Crimes against humanity and they should be prosecuted as such.

Are we simply unable to send people to the Hague?  Is that the problem?  I mean, lord knows we're not going to try to hold them accountable in this country.

All the violation and attacks on the democratic process and American Freedom and the Trumpers decide to riot over the thing that was following Constitutional protocol.

Well, I see that even after power changes hands, we are still left with these stories that say, "Guess who broke the law!!"  When we would rather be reading articles that say, "[this individual] has been arrested for the farked up shiat they did a few years ago"

When are we going to see those articles?  Because these ones we keep getting equate to someone whacking their penis on the keyboard.

2021-01-22 1:38:15 PM
Yeah. No shiat.

The question isn't if they did illegal shiat, we know they did, they tweeted it and spouted it off in public.

The question is if this country has the farking stones to enforce it's own laws against people who happen to be white and/or wealthy.

Well America, is "No man above the law" or was that just the platitude we sold to the world. Is it a principle we live by or a myth we sell ourselves.

Time to find out.

Never trust anyone who is against marijuana. Just look at Andy Harris sneaking guns into the Capitol!

Of course Sessions obstructed America, he was one of the earliest supporters of Trump's Death to America agenda.

Confederate loyalists are the willing and eager tools of Putin loyalists.

The March for Life anti-abortion rally was the largest conservative protest (but still only ranks #14 overall). Yet you don't hear a peep out of them about the family separation policy that has thus far killed or made thousands of kids "disappear." They hate women, foreigners, and children.

I'm normally against the death penalty, but anyone who had a part in destroying so many innocent lives should be hung from the rafters until they are dead, dead, and dead.

Then, they should be hung again to serve as a warning to anyone else who would do such a heinous act in our name.

Prison rape isn't funny and shouldn't exist. We should fix that after Jeff goes to jail.

If you poke and prod them long enough, every single one of them will admit that they think this should be a whites-only country.  At the absolute least, they'll make some comment about how they're not racist, they just don't think the races should mix.  Because God said so.

That's what. Death is too easy a punishment for these monsters. But I am opposed to torture on basic moral grounds.

This article makes it sound like family-child separations at the border are a thing of the past.  Are they?  Last I saw any detailed reporting, the ACLU and the Catholic charity who are the plaintiffs in the case that settled with the US were still reporting violations of the settlement to the court.  I think maybe they'd moved on from taking kids away from parents to taking kids who came with other relatives (e.g., grandparents, aunts, uncles).  At any rate, the Catholic charity that coordinates with orphanages was receiving kids flagged as "unaccompanied" who they found out later were accompanied by relatives and separated from them (with no contact information).  The news on this sort of dried up after COVID hit.

I hope these guys are charged for their crimes.  I also hope someone is looking into how to make CBP stop the separations ASAP.

It might be a little more complex than you're describing.

Are we still a member state at the UN? Then we are a party to the ICJ. There isn't a third UN-but-no-ICJ option I'm aware of (although you can be a non-UN party to the ICJ).

What you maybe mean? There is a disconnect between the ICJ and enforcement against a member of the permanent security council. A tricky balance at the best of times. Articles 93, 94, 103, Chapter VII of the UN Charter ... it's confusing. Hell, the ICJ itself has ruled that application of some enforcement is inadmissible (the Pan Am case if I remember correctly). Pretty sure the idea is that it's tough to maintain a decision against a party able to veto the action, although indeed we're well beyond the things I know deeply at this point and I freely admit I could be wrong.

But I take your point, although I always understood it to be more a problem with other countries haling us before the court because of actions undertaken by our military. Some actions remain war crimes - even if the actors are pardoned by the President, yes?

/throw that shiat on the list of fixes

I mean, yes, literally. American law includes a passage that gives automatic authorisation for the military to invade the Hague if an American is tried there.

awesome, so why now?  You were fully ok with it before.  what changed?  Oh, you got caught.

farking the country over wasn't enough, you had to go after immigrants and asylum seekers too
