Cruz is not stupid so when he associates the Paris Accord with the French, he is counting on Trump followers being so stupid as to believe the link.

They are not smart enough to be insulted.

She's devastatingly smart on Twitter. I do hope she can better handle being a member of Congress because being a member seemed to be taking a toll on her. She'd be a big loss in Congress.

"I don't even know if I want to be in politics. You know, for real, in the first six months of my term, I didn't even know if I was going to run for re-election this year. "

I wouldn't put that on the campaign poster if I were her.

It's not that Cruz and his constituents don't know, it's that they don't care. And that is far more dangerous.

i dont disagree with them. Its just. THEY GOT TOLD. They have been told before. Over and over and over again. At this point its not ao much 'oh snap' as 'preaching to the choir'. They clearly arent getting told. This is why the us needs QP. To just run people right the fark over in person and on record.

Also this is a repeat.

Wow. What a dumbfark Cruz is. I'm sure he really thinks that the Paris accords are something to do with french citizen.

There really should be minimum standards for policians in the house and senate and saying this crap should be getting you fired on the spot.

Every other job in the world : you fark up : you get fired. Politics : you can murder and ruin people who vote for you with your stupidity and you keep your job till the end of your term anyway. What kind of stupidity is this???

You fark up, there should be a way to remove you from your job immediately and the second person in the running in the election gets your job.

Except there's a problem. Almost nobody with a 3 digit IQ would buy into Ted's claim, he's  clearly aiming low. So a clever retort is popular with the faithful but will miss Ted's audience. Further, Ted's audience probably don't really know what the Geneva Convention is. Additionally, they rather resent being made to feel stupid for not knowing, besides they're probably pretty sure it's some foreign stuff that's part of the Globalist Agenda or some such thing. It's just wasted on them.

4of11: Is Ted Cruz not aware that Pittsburgh voted for Biden by over a 20 point margin?

He doesn't care. He's trying to foment dissent in Pennsylvania against Biden in a brazen attempt to get the state to turn on him or Kamala in 2024. He could have easily mentioned Austin, Dallas, or Houston and scored points with his own constituents, but he knows Texas is already in the bag for the Republican candidate.

If this politics thing doesn't pan out, she should try doing stand-up.

Nancy Pelosi can do something? The way I hear it on Fark, even with both houses of congress and the white house in Democratic hands, Democrats still shouldn't be expected to get anything done, especially trying to fix what Trump broke for the past 4 years. We still need to vote for them, mind you. But we just can't have any expectations from them.

His constituents are in Texas. He doesn't actually give any shiats about Pittsburgh. He just uses it to evoke images of sweaty white men working in steel mills.

2021-01-22 12:34:20 AM
It's a stupid statement, but I don't think he's actually claiming that this accord is just about the environment in Paris.  It's dumb as shiat, to be sure: it's a really ham-handed attempt to raise xenophobic fears that some Frenchy's gonna tell you you can't roll coal no more and you gotta turn in your Ram V8 for some electric car thing.  It also implies that it's gonna give them furriners all kinds of shiat that Real 'Muricans won't be getting.

It's weapons-grade stupid in any sense.

Children playing in the yard.  BANG, you're dead. But there was that one kid.

No, the bullet hit the watch in my pocket, BANG, you're dead.

You know, that one kid, kinda like Trump losing an election. Yup, killed over and over and over by twitter burns but they keep coming back as it it was just words fluttering about on the internet with no real significance.

By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he's more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris

Someone please tell me this man is not really this stupid.

Does he think the Treaty of Versailles was to benefit the people of Versailles?  The Treaty of 1818 was only good for one year?

I know it's Rafael we're talking about here, but: can he really be that stupid?

2021-01-22 12:38:16 AM
I have to say that her come backs on Twitter aren't very witty, they just seem that way because the comments that Republicans lob at her are so stupid that just about anything said in response seems, and most likely is, 100 times more witty. I'm not saying that she isn't witty, it is just the material that they give her to work with doesn't inspire much wit in return.

Seriously, when I saw this jackasses tweet about the Paris Agreement, my first thought was that it couldn't be real. That is the type of thing an idiot with a 7th grade understanding of the world would say, not a senator.

2021-01-22 12:40:57 AM
In many ways, Ted Cruz is still that douchebag from the video of when he was 18 talking about aspirations and thinking he's funny by comparing it to literal ass sweat.  He's managed to make it all the way through life as a moron beavis and butthead simulation in the flesh while marrying a hideous Goldman Sachs Nosferatu of a wife who helped him spawn children.  I hope his kids are not like them but it's unlikely all of them would reject their upbringing.

May his blade chip and shatter

Cruz knows that in the post-trump era the Republican state parties are essentially dead but polarization has increased, so in order to survive you need to make as many national waves as possible. This is a very clear indicator that he intends to run for president again in 2024 and intends to follow the Trump playbook and focus heavily in the rust belt. He also is going to be running for reelection on the Senate at the same time there is a presidential race meaning that he gets to take advantage of LBJ's Law and run for both positions.

After the way this country responded to the pandemic, I'm sure that there would still be people calling global warming a hoax if it hit 146 degrees in Minot, North Dakota in January.

It's not that it's nonsensical. I mean, it is, but it does accomplish his goal, which is to evoke the idea in his voters' minds that the Democrats are handling governance of the country over to Europe.

Neither he nor his voters respect AoC, so her commenting on his tweets just makes her and her voters appear to them as someone who doesn't get it. Neither he nor his voters consider themselves "burned".
