I've really enjoyed the past couple of years watching Martin build the Marble Machine X.

"Hey Hill Valley, are you ready to rock?"

At college they offered carillon as a music elective. Finals could be heard all across campus.

My wife and I were at Washington Park in Springfield, Ill. when we heard a carillon playing the main them from The Godfather.  We wandered over and there were little groups of people all over the place making a night of it, with wine and fruit and such.  I'd had enough after about twenty minute, but then the theme from Game of Thrones started playing.  Everybody on the ground started applauding.  No dragons showed up, though.

It's called a "carillon" subby.

When I worked at University of Rochester I was lucky to get up to see and hear someone play the carillon one day. I worked just outside the building that housed it and it was pretty awesome when people started to play Christmas music or even stuff they composed.

Yes, there are bell towers. Clocks optional. They're big in Holland. I have a degree in carillon *mic drop*.

Wintergatan is a fun youtube follow if you're both a CAD nerd and a music geek. Especially his new Wintergatan 2 channel which is just him farking around on CAD with a CNC machine.
