Ain't it the truth, ain't it the truth!

The quote may not be in the article, but I heard the surgeon say it on TV. And if it's on TV, it must be true!

Interesting choice of words, though.
2004-09-06 05:24:55 PM
Pretty soon he'll be cleared to have sex with ugly women again
2004-09-06 05:45:30 PM
That's how I like my Clinton.

2004-09-06 06:17:32 PM
Kudos on the headline...
2004-09-06 06:18:51 PM
Clinton needs a better intern to screw and less McDonalds.
2004-09-06 06:19:04 PM
Even though I don't like his politics, it's good to see he's ok...

/ Oh wait, this is FARK, I need sarcasm.
//Aye Carumba, Man.
2004-09-06 06:19:10 PM
Oddly enough, "sedated but arousable" is a pretty commonly used medical term. It means somebody is lightly sedated such that they're knocked out, but they wake up when you jostle 'em.

/on call today, sitting around bored off my ass
2004-09-06 06:19:21 PM
....but arousable.

Feh, this isn't saying much about the former President. Hell this guy seems to get aroused at the drop of a hat. Even when a fat chick flashes her thong, he can't help himself.

Must be all those years married to Hillary.
2004-09-06 06:22:28 PM
great headline. id be very disappointed in anyone who wishes ill on him for what he previously did.
2004-09-06 06:24:30 PM
Clinton rocks.

Pretty soon he'll be cleared to have sex with ugly women again

I'm sure Hillary is thrilled.

Oh, wait. You meant OTHER ugly women, didn't you? That's ok, I bet Hillary has sharp knees, anyhow.

Anyway, here's hoping my fellow conservatives can give Clinton the respect they demanded for Reagan after his death... and those who can't bring themselves to that can hopefully just keep their mouths shut.

/Obvious but Unlikely?

Felons get access to the best "free" healthcare.
2004-09-06 06:26:36 PM
Yeah I really like Clinton too. The way I see it every so often someone who isn't a complete asshole becomes president. Someone who's actually a decent person. Despite any personal shortcomings, Clinton's one of the good boys.
2004-09-06 06:27:39 PM
Way to steal the first half of the headline from Drudge...
2004-09-06 06:29:48 PM
"A device commonly called a pump was used to oxygenate and circulate Clinton's blood."

High tech shiat!

I'd vote for him if he ran this year. And I'm an Indiana Republican.
2004-09-06 06:33:40 PM

He may be a bastard, but he still was the highest ranked person in America.

Glad he's okay.

Good. Get well soon. It's so uncouth to kick a man when he's down.
2004-09-06 06:39:58 PM
Talk as much shiat as you want, he'd be re-elected in a second.
2004-09-06 06:43:12 PM
I was referring to the "extreme" posts you, too, felt it necessary to chastise.

Anyway, sorry, Dad.
2004-09-06 06:45:07 PM
Howard Dean: "It's so uncouth to kick a man when he's down."

Bill Clinton is not a man. He is merely a support system for an erection. Men do not behave thus.
2004-09-06 06:46:36 PM
I wonder if the Kerry campaign will be hurt but Clinton's hiatus from campaining or be helped by the second-hand sympathy.
2004-09-06 06:47:31 PM
Oops, mods, feel free to delete my posts now that it appears I'm talking to no one. :) I'll be happy to see that conversation disappear entirely.

Way to go Bubba! Hope your penis enlargment surgery went well, cause we all know that's what you really went in for.
2004-09-06 06:51:35 PM
This proves my point exactly.

Women should not have the right to vote.

I was listening to the "girls" at work and they could only talk about how "hot" Clinton is and how they would "do" him.

For the love of God...who gave these bimbos the right to vote. Because of 8 years of Clinton, when we got attacked the first time at the World Trade Center, the dumb ass FILED A LAWSUIT!

Woman, Madeline Albright, our Sec of State; To prove how "sensative" we are, we send the USS Cole to Yemen, the craziest bunch of mother farkers on the planet and they of course bomb the USS Cole and kill our sailors.

We should just hit the Back Button in the Constitution and take the vote away from the female gender.
2004-09-06 06:51:42 PM
I was never a Slick Willie fan, but I'm glad to hear that he pulled through his complex procedure and will be well.

There's no such thing as a "routine operation," so this is, indeed, good news. Clinton will be comparing notes with Letterman in a few weeks.
2004-09-06 06:58:28 PM
Get well Slick, though I must admit I had thought you meant healthcare for US.
2004-09-06 06:59:19 PM
Woop Woop
2004-09-06 07:04:13 PM
arousable...when Hillary's not around.
2004-09-06 07:04:19 PM
Never was a fan, but glad to hear he came through surgery okay. I'll wait till he's better before resuming the obligatory bashing....

/Props to the submitter, great headline, I actually thought about laughing out loud, but I'm not real demonstative that way....
2004-09-06 07:04:43 PM

Man, that RNC sure took a toll on the guy.

If I had to wake up next to Hillary every morning, I would have had a heart attack a long time ago..

If I had to wake up next to Hillary every morning, I would have had a heart attack a long time ago..

I don't think he's had that problem for some time now.
2004-09-06 07:24:02 PM
Clinton was the last good president the US has had in at least 50 years. (Obviously the last sentance was my opinion.) He could go anywhere in the world and draw huge crowds of support....GWB has to sneak in and out to do diplomating. Even tony blair refused to come to the US to be in a photo op with him (GWB) and get a medal.
2004-09-06 07:24:42 PM
Bill Clinton...the nation's first black president.
2004-09-06 07:24:58 PM
Never fear.
Clinton is here!

This is good news.

Here's to you Bill Clinton. May you have a speedy and complete recovery. Don't leave us yet, we may need you again sooner than we thought.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
2004-09-06 07:26:08 PM
I don't think he's had that problem for some time now.

*golf clap*
2004-09-06 07:28:04 PM
I heard there was huge fire next door to the hospital and they had to close the blinds lest he wake up and think they'd lost him.

Just kidding.

Get well, Sir, though I'm happy as hell both you and your administration (Gore, Hillary, Reno, etc.) are gone.
2004-09-06 07:31:59 PM
OldbutFast, unfortunately it cuts both ways. The fact that kerry is remarkably unattractive is hurting him with women voters and the main reason that edwards got the vp nomination.

/is a big fan of the electoral college as originally written.
2004-09-06 07:33:44 PM
Not exactly a Clinton fan, but glad he's pulling through. He's not the most moral person in the world, but good at what he does.

/No. Not that. The other thing that he does. You know, diplomacy.
