Where is he, what is he doing?

Florida man: busy complaining that some black woman and a liberal stole his job. He consoles himself by lying about his glory days and fantasizing about banging his daughter.

Uncle Jimmy is too building building houses for Habitat for Humanity since Florida Man wrecked the economy and created a demand for housing assistance.

I read a story recently that he had just taken a fall within the last week or so, and he got a nice shiner because of it. But he went back to build a house for habitat for humanity the following day.

Good lord it was painful watching Bush fumble through basic platitudes squeezed between two of the most eloquent and charismatic leaders we have ever had.

2021-01-21 9:46:12 PM
Not a Shrub fan but I think he was right on this one:
Former President George W. Bush credited Rep. James Clyburn with being the "savior" of the Democratic Party, telling the South Carolinian at Wednesday's inauguration his endorsement allowed Joe Biden to win the party's presidential nomination.
Biden was the only one who could win and Clyburn was the kingmaker

No doubt. But Trump also made Bush look like a genius by comparison. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that when Trump got to Florida a fruit basket and a thank you card from Bush was waiting for him.

W. at least had some empathy. He wasn't a good president, and made a lot of bad decisions, usually on the advice of awful people, but he wanted to succeed.

He didn't consider success actively attacking half the country all the time. A good comparison would be natural disasters. W. didn't pout about California not voting for him and refuse federal help when CA had a wildfire outbreak or earthquake.

I see the Democrats and media are hard at work normalizing the war criminal George W. Bush. Give it a couple of years and Trump will be their jolly golfing buddy.

I keenly remember 2008 when we (i.e. the world) finally got rid of Bush, and assumed that there was no further that America could credibly sink.

Trump proved us all wrong. Bush looks and sounds like an elder statesman in comparison. That's extremely troubling given that he was a complete menace and an active force for bad - he just wasn't so on a petty, spiteful level.

People come in here and say in tones of stentorious condemnation "Stop trying to make Bush look good!" and really, nobody has ever done that. All anyone has ever done is state why Bush is better than Trump. He was not a vindictive, petty wretch. He had some capacity for empathy. He was able to speak in coherent sentences. He didn't openly insult our friends and allies; or court our enemies and pander to despots.

The problem is that Trump has dug a 50-foot trench and lined it with broken glass and pungi sticks, and set the bar DOWN THERE...and Bush at least clears that because HIS bar was flat on the ground. That doesn't mean anyone is trying to "make" him look better; it's just a fact that eating a dead snake would be better than eating raw sewage.

Just because Trump couldn't start a forever war if he tried doesn't make W any better.  W just was able to limit his self-defeating evil more often.
