There's no reason to hatewatch lie-filled press conferences any more. If only we could go back to brunch now.

It is so unfair to judge people by their actual words and actions.

Typical left-wing intolerance.

I am very happy about Joe's success in his last job as Trump exterminator.

I'm still going to judge his performance in his current job as President on the merits.

Trump's press secretary gave press conferences and was criticized. Biden's press secretary gives press conferences and is praised. This is clearly liberal hypocrisy. Just don't spend any time thinking about why different things might get different reactions and don't try to give my comparison any context.

Seems like Mittens and the rest of the traitor caucus is back to form FTFA:

As Psaki was making these remarks, it was reported that Sen. Mitt Romney-one of the moderate Republicans Biden would need to go along with any bipartisan package-thought the proposal was "not well-timed."

Not well-timed? There are over 400,000 f*cking people dead, you asshole!! What's a better time for you, when there's a million? Or is it when you've bled everyone else dry, you vulture capitalist sack of rancid dogs*t?

I'll never forget Sean Spicer's first press conference where he wanders out wearing two different shoes and no pats, yelled at the press corps that a lizard was trying to burrow into his ear, and then walked off without taking any questions.

It really set the stage for what was to come.

Former spokesperson for the Department of State.
Former White House Communications Director.

Look at that, a qualified individual doing a job she has relevant experience for.

but Sen. John Cornyn-a top ally of Minority Leader Mitch McConnell-immediately poured cold water on that idea, which is something the press can ask her about at her next press conference on Thursday while expecting a rational and truthful response

Of course they're back to obstructionism.

Someone should ask her about it, and that should be her response.

Never forget that Romney was a direct influence on Trump's style of boldly lying and getting angry at the press when his lies were called lies.

So, bets on how long she lasts...? There are 1,460 days in 4 years, or just under 133 Scaramuccis.

I'm thinking she goes the distance, but I'm going to hedge that to at least 61 Scaramuccis.

It's her first meeting as WH press secretary. If all she does is "ummm" a bit, I'm going to jump for joy. I'd piss myself & pass out, TBH, which still makes me more honest & forthright than the Huckster or Bullshiat Binder Barbie...

Believe it or not, there's no genetic nor even female-only learned behavior of using "ummm" or "liiike".  Women do it for the same reasons humans all over creation do it...stalling as they search for the next word or thought.  Now try not to entertain stupid theories about women, okay?

Ok. Deputy press secretary, deputy comm director, comm director, state press secretary. She's not new to the environment, the questions, the white house, the cameras, etc. Just like Joe Biden isn't new either. They didn't need anyone to show them around and point out the bathrooms, know what I mean?

Ah, I see the confusion.

I think you may have gotten the wrong point out of my post. The joke wasn't "Oooh, she's new!", but "Oooh, I bet she lasts slightly longer than Trump's usual PR flacks." I was actually mocking Scaramucci. He was the comm director for 11 days. Trump went through 5 press secretaries and 5 comm directors in 4 years - heck, for the last 8 months or so of his presidency, he didn't have a WH Director of Communications, IIRC.

And don't forget that almost his whole cabinet was 'acting' in the role. Trump went through staff like a baby goes through diapers, and for the same reason.
